There’s an interesting discussion on a HR themed Instagram I follow about when you were first ‘hooked in’ to the show.

For me..I was interested but as usual scrolling my phone while watching episode 1 and then the shower scenes ……locked me in. Phone down immediately!

it wasn’t just the sight of these 2 gorgeous men ( was partly that) but I was so surprised the show was ‘going there’ in its frankness about gay hook ups etc. The glances and non verbals between them…great acting.

And then I binged the whole series. 😄

For anyone watching Legends on Netflix (very good), I can’t believe Connor is going to be in a film with Tom Burke, Gracie Abrams and David Jonsson (industry) in “please” directed by Halina Reijn - possibly to be filmed in Europe.

Hudson was spotted on set with Julia Garner in Tyrant in LA today.

The Who What Wear podcast with James Y out today is excellent about styling Connor.

I’ve started watching Off Campus on Prime - it’s watchable but not “HR”!

Connor Storrie and Tom Burke together is so exciting for me! Legends is on my list to watch but I love him in Strike and loved him in The Musketeers too back in the day.

I just can't work up any enthusiasm for watching Off Campus now I've seen HR. I think if Off Campus had come out first I'd probably have been looking forward to it, but HR seems to have reprogrammed by brain somehow and now the only romance books/series I can get into is MM romance. Also, my DD was a huge fan of the CBBC Mallory Towers series and the thought of watching Darell Rivers have sex just feels wrong!

The update today on Please is that it’s set in the 1870’s and may be filmed in Germany and UK this coming July - (it’s set on Long Island).
Connor may be on his way to the UK for the first time!

I'm exactly the same. I have no interest in programs or books now unless they are MM. Nothing else hits the same.

In my case I just looked up ep 1 out of interest because I read about a Shane & Ilya lookalike contest in New York so wanted to see what the fuss was about. It’s really not my usual thing (I’m a horror and sci-fi fiend) so I wasn’t expecting to like it at all.

I was hooked from the very first scene where Shane was so cute introducing himself to Ilya, two such gorgeous specimens! Aah and the gradual fall into love is just so….lovely.

And then I binged the whole series (many times)😂

I haven’t read anything else by RR yet though, too many (stressy, annoying) other things going on atm sadly.

I’m v much looking forward to them though, particularly since joining this thread. I’m gonna plan a holiday in the sun and download the lot to read by the pool with a cocktail. Bliss.

globally on Amazon Prime and Belmont Cameli has just hit 1 million followers on IG this afternoon. It really shows why Connor and Hudson have had to take every opportunity offered to them because there is always something coming around the corner.

Belmont is very cute. You’re right…strike while the iron is hot is definitely a thing for actors.

You may have seen that HR has been nominated for a National Television Award for Best New Drama. The closing date for voting is 29th May and ceremony is on 8th September.

Same here. Off Campus feels like your average rom-com with just a hint of hockey but nothing about the struggle like HR showed. It feels just like your run of the mill romance.

There are tons of amazing hockey MM books.

I bought a new Kindle and subscribed to KU and can't read quick enough! I never realised how many MM hockey romance books existed!

HBO in the US has fixed its lighting. Anyone know of our Sky/Now TV version is dark? Some of it looks quite dark to me but I’m not sure what version we have.
