That Peleton ad is excellent. He is obviously very hot but he also can dance it seems! As well as be sporty. Multi talented. The ad has almost 145k likes. The previous Peleton ad on instagram posts attract about 3-4 k. Gold dust.

I hope they paid well for these adverts.

I wondered that. I did a bit of research into it. They are rising rather than established stars but are of the moment. So they would get a hefty fee but not as big as someone like Adam Driver for example. Also agents and managers get a big cut too. But they are very much not struggling actors now!

As it said on Threads, I’ve now watched the Peleton advert more times than I have watched episode 3! It’s been a busy 2 days.

Its particularly nice to see an Asian actor doing so well, particularly due to something that isn’t an Asian focused story.

I am mixed on Hudson - I like his personality, but depending on an angle he sometimes looks like 10/10 and sometimes 4/10 for me ;).

Good God the pictures of Connor at the Tiffany gala. He is so handsome it’s absurd. And his hair looks perfect.

It’s my favourite look so far, I woke up in the middle of the night to check my phone to see what he was wearing to the event, I really don’t know what has happened to my life since 10th Jan!

Oh that sun burn is not good, if he carries on with that and smoking he’ll be a state healthwise pretty quickly.

I have been keeping up with Heated Rivalry via Instagram and Facebook. My god the trajectory those 2 actors are on is incredible. They must have nose bleeds! As must their loved ones. Spare a thought for Hudson’s girlfriend. She fell in love with a skint film student but now he’s one of the most desired men on the planet!

I am very glad for their success. They deserve it and have clearly been grafting away for years. Unfortunately and selfishly for me, it makes me a little bit nostalgic for those very early days of the show, when it was very niche and they were doing lovely unhinged press. Their instagrams from then were so funny. They weren’t fully media trained or experienced with the hype etc. I just remember watching and thinking ….wow! Who are these guys???? Their outfits for the first batch of HR press are so basic. No stylists then!

Currently they are the Hollywood It boys. And everybody wants them. It actually gives me a bit of ick to see how much everyone is swarming around them like flies though. However, I am sure they are well advised and supported and they seem very grounded. They also have an expensive team around them whose strategy seems to be heavily promoting connection and visibility. Maybe the relentless promotion will ease off as they become more established. I would hate to see their freshness and charm swallowed up by the Hollywood machine.

Good luck to them though. They will hopefully be well rewarded financially. They will always be Shane and Ilya to many of us though!

I think it is very interesting how their careers will look like. I think Connor might be more artsy type (just going by type of movies & music he likes or directors he meets), while Hudson is the type to lead a blockbuster movie.

both are great actors but I could definitely see Hudson in a Hollywood blockbuster, action type film.
