That’s really sad. I enjoyed that and would have finished it. I’m current re reading all of the series. I love Ilya popping up and the chats about him.

@Heresave36, it’s all over threads (and I guess X but I don’t go there) Opal has commented this morning that she may post it when it’s complete.

I’m so sad about that. My little corner of threads is lovely but there’s definitely a solid slice of toxicity around. Fingers crossed it gets updated at some point.

I’m glad they’ve said they might upload it all once finished. I enjoyed it and would like to finish it.

Wolfbird has had over a million hits so the negativity must have been pretty bad to force them to end it as they have. I hate a loose end and I need to work out in my head now how the happy ever after happens!

The casting information sent out to the Canadian talent agencies for season 2 included casting for Ryan, Fabian, Eric and Harris. We already have Kyle. No Troy which may mean he’s been cast already. Jacob’s said there’s no Long Game adaptation without Troy and Harris just like there was no Heated Rivalry adaptation without Scott and Kip.
Rachel has said that Jacob has a particular love of Ryan and Fabian so it looks like we’ll be getting them in some capacity too. Very exciting!

I'm not entirely sure those casting calls were legit. It’s a lot of characters though. Ryan Price was already mentioned in the shows so he’ll be there I think. I love Troy and Harris. Can’t wait to meet them.

I spent too long on X today. Like all fandoms a nasty divide has formed. People are nuts. It’s sad the fic writers are hounded off AO3. That’s awful.

Can I ask something personal?…..has the consumption of this show and the books, edits etc increased your er….libido? Definitely asking for a friend…

Ha no, it just shows (very well) what standard queer male sex looks like, I think for queer men the story has a bigger impact than the sex scenes.

I’m trying to decide my favourite game changer books.

i think it’s long game, heated rivalry, role model, tough guy, common goal and then game changers. But it’s probably first three a tie for 1st and the second three tied for second 🤣

I loved the sex scenes first time round, now I tend to fast forward because it’s the developing love bits that get me the most.

Yes the development of the way they fall in love is quite nuanced. That’s why the show is so re-watchable , you see different things you might miss first time.

Instagram tell me they may have cast Jack Innanen as Troy for HR 2. If you have read the books you’ll know the character. I can see it.
