Yes, I have found this so confusing: Jasmine read in the paper that someone called Zoe Slater was shot but it’s never been explained how she knew Zoe was her mum in the first place? As a PP said, the hospital did not know Zoe’s last name so how did Jasmine work it out??

We’ve heard no back story from her describing how she tracked Zoe down and bizarrely none of the Slaters have asked her either which is the weirdest part of it. Surely Zoe’s first question would be how did you find me? Jasmine could literally be anyone!

The Slaters have been hopeless. They haven’t questioned Jasmine enough or arranged a DNA test.
Completely taken in by a few things that she could have faked ( how she knew about the baby braclet and key ring I’ve no idea, but it could be explained away somehow I’m sure )

Years ago the old Mark Fowler (Todd Carty) was in the Bill and played an evil police officer called Gabriel who was the long lost son of one of the female officers who has given him up for adoption. In the end it turned out he was impersonating the adopted son (who he actually killed). I did wonder if they might go down this route with Jasmine and it turns out she knew the ‘real’ Jasmine. It would be ridiculous but no more ludicrous than this current storyline.

That’s it! Jasmine has murdered MySon, which is why we haven’t met him!

I think Jasmine’s mum is the key to it all. They need to contact her again. Maybe she adopted Myson as well - surely with twins she would have been encouraged to adopt both - and yes, Jasmine did something to her brother! The mum seemed very scared.

Eastie, Cindy and Lauren haven’t once mentioned jasmines mum to anyone who they both met late last year and who told them she was dangerous.
I had high hopes for Mindy to bring Jasmine down ( Cindy telling max to meet up with her mum ) but nada.

I would have thought they were adopted together too. It would be so easy to find out but no one seems to care!

MySon had better be worth waiting for after all this!

I’m clutching at straws because I can’t let myself believe Chelsea would marry max so I’m going with Denise marrying him
although at this point they could do anything I don’t think even they will know for sure

There was a reason we didn't think it was Denise, I think, at the time?
(Apart from it being unbelievable that she'd divorce Jack and marry his brother within less than a year!) I find it more believable that it would be Chelsea because he likes younger women, and she makes bad choices.

I think we decided it couldn’t be Denise because it looked like she was getting ready for the wedding in her house (ie the house she lives in with Jack)? The mystery is who was calling Denise on the mobile, causing Libby to look so concerned when she saw the callers ID.

I also think although Jack seemed exasperated with Max in the flash forward episode, surely if he was marrying Denise he would be have been a lot angrier and he would not have gone to the police station to pick Max up after the arrest. I’m going with Chelsea as the bride but so far this year they haven’t interacted at all so guessing it will be another “shagged in June, married by December” type storyline.

Does nobody do a full shift at work anymore!
They were all over the place today with work

I noticed Julie wasn’t at work today, Honey and Bea just left the shop to have coffee out and now it looks like Bea is making trouble for the Panesars.

Nigel with his dementia shouldn’t have been moved from Phil’s house, surely Julie knows this?! And then into a care home, it’ll really mess with his head.

Julie is never at work! I agree that moving Nigel to the b&b was a foolish idea. Julie has a lot of those.

@Eastie77Returns thank you for the reminder, yes it was the location of the dress I was thinking of. And you're right, Jack would have been a lot angrier with Max if he was marrying Denise.

What is Vicky doing telling her boyfriend (forget his name) about Zac? Will the boyfriend forgive her? And what was Mark (is that his name?) doing skulking behind the door there and also skulking at the gym? Good to see Vicky doing a job more suited to her skills than cafe work though.

I think that Julie must have left her job as a teacher as they are back at work now ( not the holidays) and unless she is very part time , Julie is never there.
I hope that Bea brings the Panesars down , it would actually gladden my heart tbh, they have too much old say. Plus Bea knew Russian , I still maintain she was an ex spy.. !

Honey tells Bea that Suki tired to kiss her once.
I hope Bea gets wind of the whole six debacle too ! I know she’s annoying , but she could also be good fun ( in a meddling way !) cause a bit of a stir.
Although if Suki sees her drinking the profits on the cctv , she may be sacked off before she can do any real damage.

So, Zac is the Vic chef and also runs the gym. In between trying to woo Vicki and being chatted up by randoms in the pub !
Phil isn’t interested in the gym and it’s just being left to rot.

Vicki’s partner is Ross. He is Joel’s dad.

I quite like the interactions between Max and Linda, they are good as friends.

Poor Phil, and poor Nigel. Julie should not have moved Nigel out of his familiar environment.

I think I dislike Vicki more every time I see her. She took her time to decide she was outraged at Zack’s advances in the gym! However Bea is a lot more annoying than Vicki.

Kathy’s off injured now, hope she is putting in a claim on Elaine’s insurance!

I’m confused, why are Avani and Nugget not at school, have they left and I’ve forgotten about it?

I don’t know if this is a deliberate choice but Mark is dead behind the eyes. And the skulking is annoying. I was surprised Vicki told Ross.

Mark is a bit wooden, but I’m intrigued by how he becomes friends with Max as so far they don’t know each other or had any interaction.
Max still hasn’t got a job and still at the b and b. Mark is just lurking and whoever beat him up isn’t after him so far. I suppose that Nige will end up in the care home.

I agree that max and Linda as friends is nice. They will probably ruin it all , but she needs a friend.

Mark isn't really doing enough of the right type of skulking, he's supposed to be finding 'the grass'!

And yes why hasn't Max got a job, where is his money coming from.

A regular dementia care home won't accept Nigel if he is being violent, far too much risk to staff and other residents. Imagine if he behaved like that to a frail elderly lady, he could seriously injure her. He'd need 1 to 1 care in a specialist EMI.

I thought that Avani and Nugget were at college? I remember Priya saying to them both ‘ off to college’ once a few weeks ago.
Although Nugget’s work experience today with Vinny was short lived wasn’t it.

Julie has never mentioned leaving her job but hasn’t done a days work since she got it and was recently in Scotland for weeks so who knows. The only time I recall her working was when she had Lily over to do some tutoring and Lily ended up leaving in tears because Nigel insulted her. I’m sure there are safeguarding implications behind a teacher inviting a pupil over to her house but in Walford anything goes!
