The decor of Peacocks gives me a headache. I much prefer neutral colours and it could look so nice with just a few quirky things around , but not as dark and overcrowded as it is.

For a while I’ve also been thinking Ian and Elaine are going to get together and they had another spat in today’s episode which makes me think the writers are going down the obvious route with this story, What’s the point of this feud, otherwise?

Dee and Ian didn’t like each other much, but after being locked in the store cupboard at the shop they ended up engaged. Nearly married..
Zac is still mooning over Vicki then 🙄

I’m surprised that Kathy didn’t get on her car horn to warn off E laine ! Plus it’s all very well having good insurance , but they put the insurance up after a claim! Such a silly woman

There is a 12 year age gap between Elaine and Ian, then again there was a similar age gap between her and George. She always looked too old for George!

George and E’ Laine was never a long term thing. I didn’t buy into their relationship at all tbh. He was still in love with Cindy / Rose at one point early on and I think I she just offered him the chance of a new life and the pub. Which ( ironically) neither of them have now.
Running a restaurant seems a weird choice too, especially as he wouid be better off running the gym ( especially as Sharon is away for ages and he has more knowledge of this world)
Ravi struggled to make a profit and Nic Will want her money back. That wasn’t even in writing , so she could easily stitch him up.

Enjoyed Zac shirtless in today’s episode. But not with Vicky, the most unrealistic pairing in a soap full of unrealistic pairings.

Mark is mean and moody isn’t he. He hates Ross !
I’ve no idea who they will pair him up with. Might be gay , but it feels very unlikely. Gina is a possible , Harry has turned her down a few times now and he is similar to Mark. Might make H jealous.
Knowing EE he’ll may like older woman!

Oh agree that Sicky is a bad pairing. Would never happen in real life

@cramptramp agree Shirtless Zack was a nice distraction but him and Vicky are just so unbelievable.

'E'Laine is way out of order.
I think she's 67? There was a scene in the QVic last year when Johnny Sausage didn't know her age and it was brought up then.

Sleeping Oscar made my heart melt.
He just wants to be loved.
I wish Tanya would come back.

I thought when Elaine had a stroke last year and the paramedics attended, she had to tell them her age and it was 68. But anyway, she's definitely late 60s and she's collecting her pension!

Yes there's definitely a reason behind the EELaine/Ian thing otherwise what's the point. But they would be the most unbelievable soap couple ever.

@Alucard55 I actually think they would make a more believable couple than Zicky!
I'm glad Kathy gave them both what for in today's episode.
Their petty sniping is getting on my nerves too.

Oh yes, E laine had a stroke didn’t she! I had forgotten this. Going around having a row with Ian doesn’t help matters.
I admit that Ian’s ribbon cutting was funny though

At least Alfie is the voice of reason at times. He has it all to deal with.

It didn’t sound as if Tanya was very motherly with Oscar in Devon as he isn’t very complementary about her. I did like Tanya though , she could be funny and sassy at times.

I agree but they would have strong competition from Zac and Vicki!

80s Tanya had serious mental health problems after Abi died, she turned up for the funeral looking terrible (I don't think she even made it to the service). So she probably hasn't been much of a mum to Oscar. But Max is even worse, he was completely on the missing list.

I can see why Zac likes Vicki tbf. I just think as friends though. Zac was better with Sam , that worked ( for five minutes!)

Oh yes, Tanya was in a bad way wasn’t she ( which is understandable of course)
Abi’s death was horrible :(
I suppose it all had a knock on effect with Oscar.
No wonder he ended up in prison !

She is not zacs type ..if they wanted her to have an affair, Brian would of been a better choice

Sharon's brother ,with Sharon's adopted dads daughter
Exactly the same as Dennis and Sharon..
So it's just for effect
But really
If they were going down this route
They should of picked a different Vicki .. because her and Zac do not go together.

Mark ...grants son ...is clearly trying to walk like grant ,all puffed up ,shoulders out ..in the part where he walks over to Ross in the pub ... trying to hard ..
And clearly mark is going after Ravi ..how predictable.
I can see max getting a house on the square and Oscar living with him ..the bit where he kissed his head ,was a lovely touch .

It is a bit rinse and repeat with Max atm. ‘ I want to be a better dad’ etc etc.
Going by what we already know, I doubt he’ll be much different all year. Trying hard, messing it up, getting into trouble , it’ll all be neverending I’m sure
