I can hazard a guess that Max gets involved with it all too. He needs a new ‘job’ ..

I suppose they needed
some younger Mitchell blood around as Phil is getting on a bit now and too old to be the total hard man of the square. He’ll be absorbed and living in Phil’s place I suppose. He didn’t even have the one bag ( not that I saw !)
Dont mind if Sam hangs either!

I can remember when Kat married Phil and Stacey did a speech saying ‘ as if she isn’t scary enough, she is now a Mitchell ‘ lol
The Fowler’s are a bit more passive than the Mitchell’s generally speaking , but yes, with parents such as Michelle and Grant , he was obviously going to like a tight t shirt and start smashing up other people’s plates! ( why do they do this ? .. it is annoying )

Can't believe Patrick is such a pushover and is going to give Jasmine some money ffs!

I suppose the Grr Smash routine is on brand, Mark is his father’s son etc. But it was very annoying. Punching people, breaking stuff. So he is after Ravi. I suppose it’s a neat connection but then what? We are stuck with Mark the drug dealer. This producer never seems to think past the 'big moments'.

Julie is an idiot taking Nigel away from his ‘home’. He will be confused and aggravated, and inevitably wander back. I liked that he ‘recognised’ Mark as Grant, although actually he looks nothing like him!

Mark seems an okay actor so far, although what he has had to do is quite limited. Better than Jasmine for sure.

Why doesn’t Jasmine just cash the cheque and clear off for all our sakes.😠

Shelling, I thought he had a hint of Grant at times ! It was only the tight t shirt, but it’s not terrible casting. His better looking than Ross ( but I do like Ross!)
Did Max let jasmine have that 5 k the other day ? I suppose not, but we didn’t see him pick up the money either! I am hoping that she’ll be gone soon as well. On her own of course!

It was hinted at new years day that Lauren may be having an affair , possibly with Mark ? So my guess is both Lauren and max get involved with the Ravi drugs dealing / grass storylines.

He's much better looking than even a young Ross Kemp (sorry Ross!). But dark haired, muscly, fond of using his fists. ✅

Oh yes that is a good point about the flashforward. Mark is clearly involved. How old is Mark, a bit young for Lauren? But a lot more interesting than Peter 😆

I know Oscar likes him, but Peter is a bore and I can imagine a lot of people will like bad boy Mark.

It won’t be long before we get to ogle him see him in the obligatory shirtless scene before or after he sleeps with someone…my guess is Penny.

I’ve a feeling that plate smashing Mark may go for Penny ! Or possibly Chelsea or Gina ?
He probably has a secret girlfriend or wife somewhere anyway , or a child or some other big secret.
vicki seemed pleased to see him though. Ross not so much ! Lol

Chelsea is apparently 39 to Mark Jr’s 29. There aren’t many unattached young women, are there? I do think Penny may already be pregnant by Vinny. Step up Gina (24)?

Do we think Lauren somehow gets mixed up in the whole drugs thing, presumably giving the police or someone info? Max seemed to be ‘friendly’ with Mark Jr in the flash forward so presumably he gets tied up in it too and the murder is Ravi’s? Although I really do hope that Lauren doesn’t start taking drugs again

Lauren seemed to have her head screwed on in the flash forward so I doubt she's taking drugs, she could have given info to the police though.

I can't think of a reason Max would want Ravi dead but his arrest could be a genuine mistake I suppose. The charge was 'soliciting to murder' wasn't it, so we don't even know if anyone's dead.

The obvious choice for Mark would be Gina. They do seem to have paired up Pinny now, and I'm not sure Mark would go near a detective's daughter, although they do a lot of stupid stuff in Walford!

Nicola is looking quite smug in the flash forward so I bet she is involved.

It seems like they're setting EELaine and Ian up for something. I don't mind EELaine as such but they've created this character that (only just) worked as a pub landlady but seems so out of place and ott going about the square.

I thought Elaine worked okay in the Vic but she does not work in the knocking shop b&b. She got some horrible scenes to play last night too, as if she would take 'advice' from Bea, there is no way she would suddenly jump to the conclusion George wanted to get back with her.

Yes agree , I have been thinking that since the beginning of their ' feud ' before Christmas .
If they do I think they will be a very odd couple .
I don't know their supposed ages , and I know it doesn't really matter but I see Elaine as older than Ian but he must be in his 60s and I guess likewise her.
Still a strange match in my eyes .

I liked the way Oscar didn't want Patrick's money and was a bit disapproving of Jasmine being so happy with her cheque. Shows he really does appreciate Patrick, I think.

I've just looked them up Ian is 56 , and Elaine ( no age given ) but said to be in mid 60s .

It’s very vague, but I think E’ Laine mentioned her state pension once , but she looks younger than this.
