E’laine is definitely not herself is she. Probably depressed and worried about running the b and b.
Her feud is silly , Ian and Kathy could actually help her if she let them. However, it’s probably too late for all that now! Linda has been snappy and unhappy since her long cruise holiday and forever cleaning and cooking ! It’s all enough to make anyone a bit down !

Yes I agree too! I actually wondered what the noise was when the scene started, then realised it was Zac and Vicki panting so desperately for each other 🤢.

We were laughing at mark strutting around like grant, he’s very much like him for how little he has had to do with him! Then Alfie saying jasmine is a slater and will be fine, she’s only known then a few months
baffling

If anyone is ‘ blood’ then they will be fine : obviously 🙄
They don’t even know if Jas is a slater really. A old baby bracelet from a hospital and a keyring is enough proof! lol

Mark jnr is mean and moody isn’t he! I am shocked he hasn’t tried it on with anyone yet. Even Harry was with Penny five minutes after arriving on the square .. Mark had bigger worries over Phil’s ‘ feelers’ ! He wants it sorted out now ..

That was quite a raunchy scene with Zac and Vicky. I don't hate the idea of them as a couple.
I'm liking Mark, he fits into a lot of storylines

So Mark has been living in Florida and/or Australia yet is embroiled with the drug gangs in the East End.

Yes. I’m confused as Vicki thinks he came over to help her with the trial, yet clearly his been in London long enough to be in with a drug gang and be beaten up by one of them! Clearly lying 🤥

I know it was mentioned when Vicki first came over (for Martin’s funeral so around March?) that Mark was going to look after Michelle so that she could stay in Walford.

Mark must have been in the UK for a few weeks at least! His already in with a drug gang. How did this happen so quickly and why ? Money or some other reason as well ? He has many secrets

If Elaine doesn’t want to be treated as a joke she should stop acting as a joke.
I hope her very good insurance is going to pay out for Kathy’s injury.

I think Max is improving in small increments. He's actually making an effort.

I got fed up with Kat wittering on about Chrissie. First we had Zoe wittering about stalkers and cats, then Kat wittering about Zoe, now Kat wittering about Chrissie and Jasmine. FFS give Jessie Wallace something decent to do!

Fantastic to have an episode without Jasmine, although I fear she will be back.

I hope someone finds that video of her on Christmas Day ( maybe her adopted mum will ?) and at least Zoe can come home. I don’t think they will let her take the rap like Teddy has , but it may be after a lot of angst that Jasmine is found out!

I suppose if Jasmine disappears, and Zoe stays in jail.... win win 😆

Yes, there is that ! A double whammy of Jasmine living goodness knows where and Zoe waiting for a court date! Now Mark is around and Zicky back on, the writers may leave them alone for a little bit.

I’m confused by Ian and Kathy. He has bought the launderette and the cabs , or has his mum and he is just running it all ? What is their set up ?

I like Max with Oscar but the doting dad act won’t last.

I agree with @gingercat02 I don’t hate the idea of Zicky as a couple. It does seem a bit implausible but she could be a cougar and there seems to be something there between them.

Whoever said about Nugget improving as an actor, I agree, I liked the scene with him and Denz going out and then Denz encouraging him to go back to college.

What’s the story with Bea? I bet she’ll turn really psycho. She can’t be Max’s bride though!

Zac is really into her isn’t he! They do have a bit of chemistry I must admit. More so than jasmine and Oscar do or even George and Elaine had pre divorce.
Vicki is quite flirty and Zac is a new man now he has one of his children living across the way!

I can't see any chemistry between Vic and Zach. It makes me feel about as ill as Ian and Elaine would!

I don't think Vicki and Ross have worked at all. Ross is a total nonentity, he may as well not be there. And Vicki has no warmth or interest. I don't know if they are the wrong actors or have just been written badly. But when you compare them with Joel they just blend into the background, he is so compelling.

Yes, I love them both. It's such a shame Joel turned out to be a villain as he can't stay around, but he is very good at the villainy!

They could find a way to keep him ,if they wanted to

Look at Ravi and what he did to eve in the forest..that's worse than what joel did,and Ravi is still here

There’s nothing much wrong with the actors playing Vicki and Ross, my problem is that I can’t understand what the two characters saw in each other. Having said that, I wasn’t that impressed today with Alice Haig in the trial scenes. However, Max Murray’s reactions as Joel were very well done.

Much as I think Max Murray is a great actor, I don't want an up-skirter who films sex with a teenage girl and beats up women wandering around the square.

@Southeastdweller I know Alice Haig is well thought of, but I find her so dull and irritating as Vicki. I just don't know what it is!

Joel’s defence brought up that Vicky paid off the woman Joel sexually assaulted last year on the tube, also mentioned that Ross paid off the girl Joel abused in Australia. Vicky ran out in tears before finishing her testimony and someone said that the trial may collapse as a result. Which in soap world means that it probably won’t and Joel will be found guilty.
