Well, Kat has wasted money on trying to trace Chrissie then! I can’t imagine she’ll come home any the wiser plus Chrissie didn’t kill Antnee , so it’s all been fruitless!
I’d love Priya to become a business woman like Kathy has done. Maybe Ian could hire her to help with one of his projects or businesses ! She seems to need something , she has talents and very bright.
However, she will probably find out Ravi is an informer I suppose and they will split up again. Round it goes ( esp with Nugget too, he’ll be raging when he discovers the truth! Won’t be pleasant)

I'd love to see Priya open a business and do really well at it. Does she actually work at the moment?

The Jasmine storyline still doesn't make any sense. She 'saves' Zoe by lamping Antnee. Then she lets Zoe go to jail for his murder.

I can see why MySon wanted to get away from Jasmine!

I think she saved Zoe and then framed her so Zoe could rot in jail thinking about how she'd abandoned her. Then she found out Anthony was a)her dad and b) horrible, and now she doesn't know how to feel about it.

That's being kind to the script writers though, you can't tell any of that from her wooden performance.

Wait until Kat and Alfie find out that Jasmine knew this all along ( and the one who did it) but has allowed Zoe to be on remand for murder! I very much doubt that any of the slaters will forgive her ( or the Trumans of course) despite the fact it looks like self defence and so on. She should have fessed up on Christmas Day.
They never do the right thing do they !

A better young actress may have brought more to the Jasmine character, but unfortunately this one is lacking in skills or maybe just experience and we are not sure what she going through.
It has made it all very far fetched and sketchy.

I definitely think the producers went for looks over acting skills!!

@murasaki I think you are maybe being kind! When she showed Antony's body the video 🙄she growled "you could have killed her but I stopped you" so presumably she acted on the spur of the moment to save Zoe. I don't think the intention was for Zoe to pay for it. All the stalking stuff had been under the reign of Chrissie, and J seemed to want to stop. And she hasn't got the brain cells to work out what to do anyway (much like the producer 😆)

Most people would just fess up. She has the evidence , Zoe and Kat would have backed her up ( or come up with a cunning plan) and maybe it would have worked out for her.

No one seems remotely interested any more in Zoe and you'd think Jasmine would at least have some sort of a passing interest in what's happening to her. The whole business of viewing the body was very distasteful, just a plot device for Jasmine to get out her phone to show her Dad the video...so unlikely in every way. And the recycling of the 'arriving home drunk on the back of a milk float' was so poorly done I was cringing. Just move her out now...

If only Jasmine had told Kat and showed her the footage. Then it may have been wrapped up by Boxing Day and saved us having go listen to her impression of a drunk on a milk float ! .. the writers hate us I think

To be fair, we're not interested in Zoe, we can't expect the writers to be.

It has been quite a relief to not have Zoe whingeing about MySon and MyStalker every single day.

Jasmine actor probably thought that was her best acting moment ever.
I am sure she must be a nepo baby because how else is she still there with such a prominent storyline?

I think the milkfloat arrival is a Slater thing - I know Kat and Stacey have both done it. Not sure about Linda.

I did read that Max stops Oscar leaving.
Not sure where two teens without much money or a place to go would disappear to anyway.
Maybe Tanya may take them in, but you need cash to get there first. Hopefully Oscar isn’t going anywhere though. Jasmine can go where she likes..

Even if Oscar leaves he will be back as he needs to be back to be “kidnapped” with Lauren on New Year’s Day (and hopefully eventually find out how to do up a tie!)

I'm sure Oscar won't leave. But why would he want to leave with Jasmine anyway? She is absolutely horrible to him. I hope next week is the end of their relationship!

It is a slater thing. But was never done as badly as Jasmine did it.

I have been a bit more engaged with the storylines this last week - Ravi with his hair down wielding a baseball bat was obviously quite the show-stopper, but also there has been some good acting from Priya and others. Nugget's little face when Priya was telling him how much his Dad loved him...both showed such a mix of emotions.

Yes I agree, it’s the first time I’ve felt more invested for a while. Is good seeing a completely different side of ravi. I guessed he was always a bit of a sensitive type with his quick falling in love tendencies but it seems he’s been gently unraveling for a while now and the Kubrick style direction of his arrival at Harry’s house was fab.
I especially liked the trump card of smashing up one of those vile playing card pictures.
i didn’t realise they had them in the hall as well as the lounge (the ace in the hall, king, jack queen in the lounge I think, in case anyone is wondering 🤣)
they always look heavily nicotine stained

I just looked up the Ravi actor online and I’m slightly horrified to discover that I am older than him by 8 years. I think I am turning into an old woman!
