I assume ( but no idea) that Max was working in Devon. What he was doing is a mystery, but he seems to have raided Phil’s safe lately with all that cash he has
That big old cake out the cafe! Surely you’d go to a bakers or online ! I’ve never seen cakes there like that before. It’s more of an egg and chips and greasy breakfast place.
Would have been cheaper to get them all to have pie and mash ! I’m sure Abi wouid have liked pies!

I loved Max’s comment, “Cindy, if you are here, who is guarding Hades?”

Yes, there are a few good one liners sneaking in recently. Mostly with Oscar, Max and Cindy.

The writer stole that from Brooklyn 99 where Captain Holt says "Madelyn, if you are here, then who is guarding Hades?"

@NowNumber5 I thought you must have done. One of my favourite programmes, my love for Captain Raymond Holt is unending.

So Chrissie's christmas appearance was pointless. It was obviously just to get the 3 in the pub, but there was no fan call for that, the less we remember Den the better. It's played out that there was absolutely no need for Chrissie to return, she did nothing, so why would she waste her Christmas day just to walk in the vic for 60 seconds.
That recording that Jasmine is salivating over will end up being her downfall

Maybe it was in chrissie’s contract to do more than one visit and it was more for Sharon, but ended up being this instead ? It’s sad they didn’t leave her on a high as going off with Jake moon in a nice car on a clear day was perfect really ! I like Chrissie, but this was a pointless visit.

Far too much of Jasmine on screen tonight! She is proving to be a right psycho character, isn't she? I wish she would just leave. Oscar can do so much better than her imho!

That was nearly all Jasmine. I take it back I don't think she's any better at all.

In Ireland the body comes home, usually open casket, ie the lid is open, for anyone to go for a chat. Very occasionally closed.
Bodies are embalmed, so they don't "go off" and therefore could be viewed for a while

Far too much Jasmine, and Jasmine at her worst. Why is anyone giving her the time of day? And why would she have filmed her attack? Clearly it's so someone can find it and incriminate her. Hopefully Oscar, my hero.

The Chrissie scenes were purely to get her, Zoe and Sam back on screen together, for no point whatever. It's the same with Sam, I'd love her to return properly and live on the square but her currently storyline is just a timewaster. (Kim was on the One Show today and seems lovely.)

Lovely lines from Oscar and Max today. The Branning scenes are consistently good.

The branning dynamic is the family I would want to act with if I was cast , Oscar Like you all say is such a natural fun character every scene he is in just flows , Jasmine on the milk float was
awful , just like the zac and Vicky chemistry

I think some of Michael Moon’s lines were his own too. (Remember him?) He could be hilarious. Very dry.

I think Oscar throwing in a bit of French a couple of weeks back was possibly an ad-lib (as he’s half French, the actor I mean).

In terms of weak actor, I think Freddie and Anna take some beating. But Jasmine is pretty terrible too - she’s just completely blank.

Exactly what I was thinking! It was like she thought to sound drunk, she needed to sing with a cockney accent 🙄

I don't think Priya's reaction is that out of character. They have a chaotic relationship, a drug history, Ravi left with Nugget when he was a baby and Avani was a baby or not yet born.
She knows he is dealing, she knew he was involved with the whole Harry/Kojo thing.
And she loves him, which sadly makes people put up with a load of shit!

Freddie and Anna were not great actors, I agree. Especially Freddie. But even they could play 'every day' scenes and behave like human beings. Jasmine is just so wooden and robotic and nothing she does feels natural.

I suppose everyone finding out she is the killer is going to take as long as the 'reveal' that she was MyDaughter, this storyline is never ending. I think it might be the worst storyline they have ever done.

@alucard thank you for that wiki earlier, I have no memory of Ravi threatening broken legs. Almost all of the adult Panesars has either been in prison - or should be in prison. And yet Suki and Eve are passed for adoption!

Where did the recording come from that Jasmine had? She is on it. If there is cctv inside the living area of the pub why didn’t the police see it?

She was recording the incident on her phone. She then turned the phone round to her own face, just so we could see it was her recording it. As you do.

There is no CCTV in the entirety of Walford. It's known for it!
