The coming home on a milk float thing makes me laugh as the one round my way turns up at midnight in the winter ( my neighbours have it delivered )
It was always 6am or so when mum had milk delivered, but it’s very odd timings here. last summer he was clanking around about 2 am , definitely nobody hanging off the back.
I suppose we are meant to feel that she must be a Slater , quick to anger , coming home on milk floats , but you wouid still get a test done to make sure in a more scientific way !

Jasmine must be psychotic, to stand there with a blank face while her mother is arrested for a murder she committed herself. I don't see her being in the show much longer (God I hope not!)

Kat is back next week and they finally visit Zoe.
Be interesting to see how it pans out from there. My tv mag didn’t say anything about Jasmine though.

Her adopted mum ( who seemed nice enough) did warn two characters that Jasmine was bad news.
Lauren didn’t really tell Oscar much and Cindy is hardly in it , only fleetingly at Christmas to sleep with max and before that she was gone for a while.
I saw an old episode yesterday and Bradley was having the same conversation with his dad that Lauren and Oscar have with him now! You don’t care, you’re selfish, can’t you think about me more etc.
I doubt he’ll ever change despite saying he will every five minutes!

The scene with Jasmine pretending to be drunk on the back of the milk float was awful. Terrible acting. It’s getting so bad I can hardly watch her. Because I’ve watched EE since in started I’ve seen some very bad acting over the years, Jasmine is up there in the top five.

I remember First Vicky being terrible. Oh and Antnee of course, but Jasmine makes him look like Ian McKellen.

When you see bad acting , it makes you realize how good ones like Dee, Jean and Phil are ( for example)

Yes agreed, even if they are annoying you (Jean!) you really believe in their characters. And of course Oscar needs a mention❤

I can't actually remember anyone as bad as Jasmine!

Two teenage girls who rocked up, Habia and Iqra, seemingly straight out of acting school. Can’t remember why they were in the show but they were terrible and didn’t last long.
Shirley. She only had one expression and that was furious.

From EastEnders Wiki. Yet Suki still bothers with him.

In April 2023, Suki and Vinny are nervous about Kheerat being sentenced in court. Eve mentions to Suki that Kheerat was sentenced to life which makes Suki upset and she finds the USB stick with the video of Ranveer's murder. Suki attempts to record Ravi confessing to Ranveers murder, however Ravi figures out what Suki is up to and Ravi arranges for his friends in prison to break Kheerat's leg as a warning to Suki, Suki then stops attempting to get Ravi to confess.

Habia and Iqra! Gosh. Had forgotten those two completely , but they were ropey.
I liked Shirley though , she was funny ( and scary )
Old head Vicky with the bad American accent. She didn’t last long ! At least new head isn’t trying that accent

Habiba had a baby with jags ! The girls arrived in 2019.
They were Masood’s cousins.

Bringing back Michelle as a new head was a low.
She was awful , but mostly because people loved the old head one so much and this woman was an imposter.

Oscar is great. He came out well in a Facebook poll too.
I think he has personality too, which helps

I'm wondering how much of his script is ad-lib, because surely the same writers who come up with Jasmine's and Zoe's lines can't be the same ones who writes Oscar's.
He is just so natural and spontaneous and has a turn of phrase which is comedic, even in sombre scenes.
My favourite word to describe his character is droll.
He is just so endearing.

I like the idea of Oscar being able to as lib a bit. I think he does and they leave it in! He is fab , another fan here and he does seem popular here and on other forums too. More than anything negative.

Back to the episode - the cake tussle between Max and Cindy was idiotic.

Jasmine killed Antnee - oh wow! What a surprise 🙄

Patrick describing Antnee's character to Jasmine makes me very surprised that Chelsea is giving him the time of day to pay her respects, seeing as that was Gray to a tee.
I know she's doing it out of respect to Patrick, but still, it irks me.

I wonder when Max will find a job ! He needs to get one soon

Apparently Danny Dyer used to ad lib his dodgy rhyming slang, so maybe Oscar does get a bit of a free rein. He is the highlight of most episodes at the moment.

I agree with quite a few of those (some I had forgotten!)
Habiba and Iqra were pretty bad, and Dean Gaffney - of course!
I didn't mind Danny Dyer or Shirley - absolutely streets ahead of Jasmine! You could replace Jasmine with a cardboard cutout and noone would notice.

Considering she has two boys ( one of which is blind) and one school age and a job , Lauren is always fully made up and smart each day and no sign of the children and arranging things , like the Abi memorial or christening or something takes time to arrange and sort out, or trying to sort out Oscar! She is amazing really. Pet ahh doesn’t seem to be at work much , is the pie shop still going? He also has a stall we never see him on. They both must be earning in order to pay for the bills and Sonia rent etc. It’s a mystery how they hold it together amongst all the Max chaos and cake buying and re making that goes on to.

Yes, who was looking after Jimmy yesterday?
Oscar works on the stall for Peter, I have no idea what Peter does. We never see the pie shop. We only see Lauren at work about three days a year. Who knows where their money comes from! They haven't even bothered to give Max a job backstory either, where have those £20s in his pocket come from, what has he been doing?
