Nicola was right. Ravi got Harry hooked on heroin and kept him chained up for weeks they spiked his drink and locked him up 1 hour. Fairs fair.

He rolled around in the glass from the smashed table so I assumed he got some in him, and he's trying to get a shard out by himself 😳

I'm probably wrong but that's what I thought was happening.

That makes sense. I thought it was very weird!

I agree that Ravi needs soap justice, but ( in his defence) he did tell Oakie to let Harry go! Oakie chose to ignore this. The other things he did were bad , but you could also argue that H and his mum wasn’t aware that he would have such a strong hallucination and reactions to the drugs and beat up his own son.
Harry should have locked the door , but he thought he’d sleep it off I suppose ( or not get out the pit)
None of them come out of this well, but that glass could cause sepsis ! Or he’ll get it out and still continue to self harm ? You’d find it hard to live with yourself though !

I just don't like Ravi. I know the actor plays the character very well and he's a good family man as well but he knew what was happening to Harry and Kojo and he's done awful things. I remember he got Suki son (can't remember name) in jail beat up. He put Eve in the boot of a car and took her to the woods. Fair enough he didn't go through with killing her what a horrible thing to do. He locked Joel 90 in a freezer (yes I know but he's still a child). I'm sure he's hurt Vinny at some point too. He blackmailed Suki.

I don't understand the whole Panasear family they've all done horrible things to each other, Suki not even blood related to Ravi's kids but they act like there always there for each other.

@NowNumber5 that's what I thought he was trying to do too, get a shard of glass out of his side. Not something I want to watch at that time of day!

@alucard Ravi had nothing to do with Jags, if that is what you mean? It was Ben who removed his 'protection' in jail, resulting in his death. Ravi told Okie to scare Harry then let him go, he wasn't aware he was locked up.

I feel that Ravi will continue to self harm. It’ll be a sort of soap justice , without being put in prison or being killed off.

It's very common in RC families, particularly in Ireland. My dad was living in Ireland when he died, the whole village was at the Chapel of Rest for the viewing. My mil (Northern Ireland) was laid out in her front room to be viewed. Funerals tend to be very quick in Ireland, if there's no autopsy etc it's common for them to beburied within 2 or 3 days. Mil was laid out for that time to be viewed. It's up to the family if the body is to be viewed at home or in a Chapel of Rest.
Obviously not the same for the Trumans but I was raised RC in London and went to RC schools (back then you HAD to be practising Catholic to get a place in an RC school) and there was a high number of pupils from Carribbean countries. I know Patrick is supposed to be from Trinidad, but St Lucia in particular has a lot of RCs. It's possible Patrick is RC?

I’m not remotely religious, but I have gone to visit relatives who have passed away and to pay my respects.
It is a personal choice to go or not.
Yolande is religious and probably wouid want to go to support Partick.

Dp and his sister didn't want to see his mum, so didn't go, his dad did. Everyone did what was right for them. I don't think I'd go, but who knows when the time comes.

@Shellingbynight no the son who wore a turban was in a relationship with Stacey.

I think Ravi was aware Harry chained up. I remember him in that room.

I was wondering too if they were going down the self harm route with Ravi but they did cover that with Amy (did Ben also self harm at one point) there was also no (to my knowledge) info message at the end with helplines and stuff? So maybe he was just getting the glass out?

George seems to be utterly infuriated by Nicola but also seems to be wanting to make a go of it with her, he said something about how she doesn’t have to be alone. I know Jumpers sent a warning with Billy (that he didn’t pass on) that she’s evil but they seemed to be ok in the flash forward.

Jasmine is an odd one, she’s got that dead behind the eyes thing going on.

Alfie is also now looking after Tommy, the twins, Lily and Charlie plus his step daughters long lost daughter, you’d think at least Mo would come back to help him out

Too much Ravi and Jasmine this week for me.

There was an immensely shocking revelation in today’s episode - Jasmine killed Anthony. Hopefully this is the start of her exit story and she pisses off for good by Easter.

What was the point of her screaming then ,after Kat told her ,if she already knew he was dead ,as she did it

Maybe Jasmine was screaming because it dawned on her she had killed her own dad, but there was a lot going on just after Christmas Day and we were all confused tbf! Chrissie wanted to bring Zoe down , I don’t think she factored in this happening with Anthony. All very muddled isn’t it. Hopefully Jasmine will be gone soonish then.

I like how George is dealing with Nicola tbh and think they could make a good couple. But how did he get into her house so quickly? Does he now have a key?

Also, what was the glass item that Ravi smashed with the baseball bat? Was it a coffee table?

I’m guessing they didn’t lock the door after Ravi came in?

Edit: and Ravi would have worn a vest to cover the marks on his back, he would not want blood stains on his shirt!!

Oh Kheerat - yes I see what you mean, that storyline was a total mess. Suki thought she'd done it and Kheerat insisted on going to jail on her behalf. Then it came out it was actually Ravi, but of course the Kheerat actor had left so they just left him in jail. And no one ever even mentions him!

I haven't watched yet but it was so obvious Jasmine killed Antnee. Hopefully that means she's disposable and will disappear, and Zoe will then meet Myson who will be a better actor.

I read that the one who played Kheerat didn’t want to be an actor anymore , but they could have recast I suppose ?
Today’s one sounds dull if it’s all Jasmine playing up.
Hopefully she’ll be history soon , then everyone can move on a bit ( until myson shows up, but he might not be interested in Jasmine either )
