The tie scene on New Year’s Day was annoying me too.
Kathy or Ian could have tied it for him or Lauren

I understand Priya's reaction, she explained it well, she's protecting Nugget, and it isn't something non-spiked Ravi would ever do. Being spiked was connected to his 'career' but how far back do we want to go with whose fault it is.... And where does she think Ravi gets his money now? She must know it's connected to drugs.

But I agree there is a lot of "let's do this because Plot".

Watching today’s episode. Jasmine has the most expressionless face. Not good for acting.

I agree, I find every scene with her really awkward.

Jasmine should just leave.
Someone said Ravi looked like Meatloaf .. I now can’t get that ‘ I’d do anything for love’ song out of my head now! This isn’t a good thing at all lol

Jasmines acting is so bad that I can’t actually work out what is going on. She shows no emotions properly so unless it is spelt out verbally I can’t be sure of the situation.

That is my problem too @lazymum99 I don't know what she is supposed to be showing (or concealing) in any scene, that has been the problem right from the start. With a character like Jasmine with a 'hidden past' you need someone really good in the role.

I still can’t believe that the Truman’s and the Slaters have accepted Jasmine straight away.
Lily and Tommy and the twins were skeptical ( Lily even more so now ) but to just take everyone’s word for all of it is a tad ridiculous.
Plus , if the person who is being done for murder lived across the square in the pub from where my son’s body once lay , I doubt I’d want to set foot in the place. Partick and Yolande don’t seem to have many hang ups around this, but maybe this is normal behavior? It all happened upstairs , so not a big problem?

Also surely Denise would of told Jack who would want to do a deep dive or suggest a dna test ( regarding jasmine)

Yep, Jack is involved with the slaters and Charli is his g/ daughter, you’d be a bit curious about this woman ( also his ex is Denise , who is involved with the Truman’s and sees Patrick as another dad etc)
They are all intertwined , but nobody seems to want to find out much around Jasmine. (Cindy and Lauren did, but only because Cindy thought she was after her etc. Then she lost interest )

I wondered if they are so accepting of Jasmine because she had the police interview. Maybe it's given them a false sense of security, assuming the police did proper checks to confirm she is who she claims to be

Jasmine had the key ring and the old faded baby bracelet , but she could have discovered that information previously and found fake ones to make it look old ( as Kat said !) plus her adopted mum must know more than she let on. I’d be going to see her personally , she was willing to speak to Cindy and Lauren last year but not for long and did say she was dangerous. Although Lauren has forgotten this meeting it seems. Maybe Jasmine is the one who kidnaps Lauren and Oscar with someone else’s help. Why I’m not sure ! Hopefully she will be gone by end of the year though thinking about it ..

The baby bracelet and key ring could just show that Jasmine knows the person who is Zoe's child. That was a terrible episode for Jasmine, complete lack of acting skills.

Do many people go and view their dead relatives? I don't know anyone who has, I never viewed mine. It seems to be a TV thing.

Why is George still giving Nicola the time of day? Priya has known Ravi for donkeys years and has two kids with him, but George barely knows Nicola, he ought to steer clear. Same with Oscar and Jasmine, she is horrible.

I didn’t think of that angle, but Jasmine just may know the real person or the key ring etc is ‘ my sons’ !
That would be a twist.

Just catching up with this thread. Will Nugget actually remember anything about his attack/er?

Bea seems an interesting character and potentially someone who could hang around and get entwined with Max (poor girl).

I’m hoping EE don’t leave it the whole year until we find out what happened in the NYD episode. Not sure if I can hold out that long!

Jean is adamant she isn’t to be trusted , but nobody is listening to her are they!

I do think we won’t know a lot until December time ( maybe end of November if max is organizing a wedding !) but the actual kidnap and ( I hope. , rescue ) etc will probably be New years day I suppose.
My ( uneducated) guess is the baby rescue will be Christmas time and then the rest a few days later.

I haven’t ever viewed a dead relative and wouldn’t want to. Especially (in Anthony’s case) when 3 weeks have passed since the death!

I haven’t seen any relatives in the chapel of rest, DP went to see his dad as did a few others and my family (catholic) have done it for very close relatives (I just refuse as don’t like the idea) but plenty of my friends have been to see grandparents etc I didn’t realise it was unusual!

80s I don't think they are going that route (that Jasmine isn't the daughter) but you would think someone would question it!

I have. All four of my grandparents. Almost everyone I know who's lost someone has viewed them in the Chapel of Rest.

Thank you for the replies about viewing bodies of passed relatives. All my family have died, also my inlaws and several friends, and no viewings. I know viewing is more common with some religions, I just don't know many religious people!

It does seem to be a thing on TV as it adds drama. I don't know why Jasmine didn't just say no thanks, she didn't need to have a meltdown. I assume the reaction is because she killed him.

What was Ravi doing at the end of tonight’s episode. Looking at his side and being weird?
