I really disagree with Kirstie saying beds in windows are a good idea. I absolutely hate it when the head of a bed is under a window. I don't mind if the length of the bed is along the window, but only in a small room where there is no other option!

The new house looked nice after the makeover and had lots of space. They added a lot of value too but I always wonder if they’d really fetch as much as Kirsty says they’re worth.

Not even feet at window for me!!! Only way it's OK is length of bed pushed under it and in a corner. As in, the room is too small to fit a bed anywhere else kind of thing 😉

I know the area well and the market has gone crazy there in the last five years. They’ve made the changes everyone wants with a large sit in kitchen and it had a really big garden compared to others that close to the beach. The valuation sounded about right to be honest.

Ah right, I was confused but I can see it was just a repeat not a catch up! I watched the end and thought for a minute they'd done a catch up just showing the rest of the already half done bathroom but still not filmed their new house. Thought that was a bit weird! 😂

As far as I could tell all they did in that time were 2 not quite finished bathrooms.
I think they’re having a laugh at us ( the viewers ) expense with the repeats.

Phil said it would be a fairly easy task early on in the programme to find what they were looking for, if I remember correctly.
I didn’t think it would be.
And it wasn’t.
The woman said she wanted 25 acres minimum.
None of the houses had that. Not even the one they bought.

I quite like a catch up as you truly find out what they ultimately did and where they ended up - whether the alterations are actually enough, whether they’ve made enough money to cash in, whether what they are looking for actually exists., A repeat is just a repeat.

They don't have all the series on any format, including channel 4. There's this quite early episode a few series in which I always want to rewatch of a couple buying in Harrogate relocating from London and the woman takes no prisoners. I seem to remember Kirstie saying she could manage a project no problem but she wants a gorgeous pile and not to have to do the work. Woman after my own heart! I remember they look at some great houses, but I can never find it to rewatch!
