We all fully expect Sheridan Smith, Lisa Stansfield, Harry Hill and David Tennant to turn up. (In all honesty it would make my decade if even one of them did.)

Tape measures and sleuthing skill at the ready, gang.

Series begins January 3rd.

I guessed none of the Christmas contestants, so signing up to see if I can guess any of the main event. My teenage bon jovi fan days paid off with the clues for Ritchie, but I am generally rubbish.

Something of a scheduling clash tonight! TMS begins at 6.30 , finishing at 8. The Traitors begins at 7.45. Boo!

Oh I've found my people! Not to toot my horn but I got 2 of the Xmas contestants so I'm feeling well warmed up for the new series....and will probably guess nobody correctly as a result 😅 My MIL is the best at it though, she consistently gets 50% of the names and does it from their voices rather than any clues. She has such a good ear. Marty Pellow last year she got within about 7 seconds, I was convinced he was Jason Donovan for most of the series.

I have just realised my title says 2025! I'll have to ask HQ to edit it!

The masks this year are:

Moth, Can Of Worms, Red Panda, Conkers, Arctic Fox, Toastie, Monkey Business, Yak, Sloth, Gargoyle, Disc Jockey and Teabag.

There's a brand new twist in store for the first two shows - which will see a band take to the stage for the very first time.
On Saturday 3 January, Goldfish and the No Trout band will perform, while on Sunday 4 January, Emperor Penguin and the Antarctic Funkeys will headline the show.
This means there will be four unmaskings across The Masked Singer double weekend.
Host Joel Dommett explained: "At the start of the first two episodes we have a live band. We've never done it before and it just gives it so much energy in the room.
"Also the lead singer of the band is someone we have to guess."

So it’s just the lead singer to guess? Will the whole band be unmasked?

DS has told me we have to finish masked singer 15 mins early to watch traitors live and then catch back up on the last 15 minutes of masked singer later.
