It's great for the dc with the costumes, (which really do look amazing) but be prepared but for them to not really recognise anyone (dd2 is now 15, and love^ it when it started, but really knew very few of the guests).

In a lot of ways, it's what makes the show a bit confusing. The costumes- many are very 'cute' - suggest it's aimed at children. But how many are going to recognise politicians, or singers from 30 years ago ?

But I still love it.

Of course, we also have to factor those who have appeared on the Masked Dancer (I get confused by who has been on which- still think Eddie the Eagle was on Singer, and he wasn't)
I'm sure it's unlikely anyone would appear on both. But you never know .

Its a time limited show isn't it? Once everyone guessable has been on it, there is no one left...they can't put unknowns on it

But people become newly famous at roughly the same rate?

To be honest, they could put a repeat on there and most of us wouldn't notice : see the number of people who continue to guess Armstrong!

And people who are 'known' to one group of people, are unknow to others- look at how many posters didn't know who Morten Harkett was.

Which was a shock to me .

There were posters who were shocked that anyone wouldn't recognise Ne-Yo. well, I didn't. I knew his songs- but not hs face.

Plus, they often stick a random US act in - hand on heart- who recognised Melody Thornton when they unmasked her , or even remembered she was in the Pussy Cat dolls anyway? But they must be confident enough to put these people on the show- because the fun is in the guessing. Not whether anyone actually knows who they are (because the clues are rubbish!).
