I had caught a snippet of a spoiler about Kev.

He was only meant to be init till the time he left, but the writers knew it was going well with his character and viewers , so brought him back .

I was hoping someone would have asked Joe if he was going to a funeral.
He only seems to have one suit .

He was wearing that one when he ran someone over some weeks ago .

Oh really?! That's interesting that they saw Kev was popular with the viewers and brought him back. They don't often listen to the viewers. Hopefully we get the brilliant one liners and interactions with Liam/Nicola/Claudette/Lewis etc rather than a stupid violent revenge on Aaron.

I know I missed about five weeks, so I’m still catching up, but if someone could help me that would be awesome. Why did Dawn say no to the proposal? Has she got another fella warming up on the sidelines, I thought she was besotted with Joe and his tight shirts?

And I’m baffled by all the Kev love! You all hated him weeks ago, what has he done to get in your good books?

Is Dawn still married to Billy?

For me, Kev just became very very funny on screen. Not sure if that was the original intention with Kev. I'd read that he ad libbed some of his lines and it was kept in. His interactions with Liam and Nicola in particular were brilliant. His cringy karaoke performance, tricking Liam into being a getaway driver, his baking skills despite being a dangerous criminal, his one liners such as Lewis's vegan brownies being disgusting... have all turned him in a comedy villain and a much needed light relief/entertainment after all the drug/child exploitation/modern day slavery doom and gloom.

I think she is. They've not mentioned that any divorce proceedings have started.

I'm surprised she said no to Joe as they have been desperately trying to redeem Joe with his friendship with Sam and him being empathetic to other villagers when he never used to be. I wonder whether Dawn is still in love with Billy or just gone off marriage after Billy 🤷🏻‍♀️

More importantly, where is Billy???

Admittedly we did all hate Kev initially as he was a threat to Robron, mumbled too much and I guess we just didn't get the character in the beginning.

Agree about Joe Absolom. He's brilliant and the only good thing about the whole nasty story.

I like Kev, I like his interactions with people like Nicola and Claudette, he's makes Liam more bearable as he isn't used as a plot device for Chas when he's with Kev. I liked Claudette's mothering of him.

They also now need to explore his relationship with Lewis, so I really hope they don't turn him into a stalker to Robron who have behaved appallingly in fairness.

If they could redeem Ray, Joe A would be an asset to Emmerdale but I'm not sure how they can do that.
