Libby (squiggle) is supposed to be about 36-37, she was in it as a teenager 20 odd years ago. Oscar is about 18-19?

As an aside, I absolutely loved Lauren's dress and boots combo tonight. Gorgeous colour, neckline and it even had pockets 👌

Sounds about right , I put her about 33 if she was 18 when she went to University .

Oscar is such a nice looking fellow , I was dubious when he rolled up but he's grown on me . ( Not in that way , I literally have tights older than him !)

Lauren did look nice.
I hope that Oscar doesn’t die. Lauren dobbed in her dad and he had previously saved her son’s life.

Yep, just googled and he is an actor with quite a few credits.

If Libby is 36/37, how old is Chelsea? 42? How old is Denise? Approaching 60?

The 11th December may be significant? It did sound as if he saved lives fairly recently and then the wedding.
The pregnant one may be Stacey
He obviously did something bad though ..

The Man was staring at Lauren and Peter also when Peter was comforting Lauren so I thought maybe he was affair person?

i thought Max might be marrying Denise! It looked like a wedding dress on the door. Couldn’t be Chelsea tho.

Max and Denise! Gosh .. to think she could have chosen Ravi once.
Did anyone else go ‘ Ethan’ ? and wonder who Lauren was referring to ? I was trying to remember the children in the kiddie cupboard.. lol

The actor’s older though (25 or 26), so that would be not quite as bad.

I wonder if Max is marrying Priya as she was wearing a blue dress when he shouted at her on NYE to watch where she was going and they are all wearing blue ties. I did read that Max gets mixed up with Ravi and we know that Priya disapproves of his drug dealing but it feels a bit of a leap to then marry Max though.

I think Denise was around 50 when she became pregnant with Raymond so she must be 55 or so now. That might be too old even by EE standards to conceive so maybe the baby is Amy's or perhaps Penny's.

Priya’s blue jacket was a similar colour to those ties.

I noticed the time on the alarm as well and thought that's a strange time to set an alarm to get up out of bed 🧐

That was worse than I expected, and I wasn't really expecting much.
If they had just done 'who is Max marrying and who is he shagging' it would have worked fine. But they totally overloaded it with armed police and gunmen. Neither Lauren nor Oscar is going to die, false jeopardy. And that is the difference to The Six - that was a simple and fairly restrained flash forward.

Anyway the Bride options were Chelsea, Linda, Cindy and Denise. It isn't going to be Denise, she would not be amused by Max. The woman in the bed (pregnant) is going to be Stacey surely, although those 4 brides could be a red herring of the 'Jasmine is a Ford' variety, and Stacey could be the bride. They cannot do a Max storyline without Stacey turning up.

No idea who Ethan is, but Jack is looking after him so has to be a Branning. Jack looked terrible, so something really bad has happened, not to Dee as she was mentioned as storming out. So Penny or Amy?

11.12 .. plus getting up late to get ready to go to his own wedding !

Jack and Jack said ‘ Denise has gone out after what happened’ so whatever Max has done was fairly recent.
He did look upset didn’t he.
The wobbly camera work made me feel sick at times

Who are Ethan’s parents though ?

Lauren and Oscar do not know about the murder set up , so there a few stories going on isn’t there.
I bet it’s not straightforwards at all.
Brannings and the Truman’s feature heavily

I think it was vague enough that they have the flexibility to change it throughout the year if they have to or want to

I enjoyed it but everyone else I was watching it with thought it was awful. There is a risk with episodes like this as a lot can happen in a year in real life that may impact the storyline.

Can you imagine if this sort of thing happened at Christmas 2019 with a flash forward to 2020…. 😂

He is presumably either a son or grandson of Jack. Beyond that - who knows?

I wonder whether Kat and Alfie are still running the Vic in 2027? Tracey had been “left in charge” by her bosses so we didn’t see who they were. Possibly still TBC!

Partick sounds frail to me. I am sure that the actor is fine, but what if someone falls ill or ( like Sharon) need extended leave ? They will have to recreate this episode again at the end of this year

Yes @Shellingbynight there is no tension at all in that part of this convoluted story. Max won’t do a ‘Sophie’s choice’.

I also agree there was too much going on.
