Tommy didn’t have to learn many lines today did he. Hanging around , listening in.
The Harry / Ravi beef. The catalyst was Nicola giving Ravi the number of her drug dealer friends and escalated from there for months ! I am struggling to keep up with that one , but I fear it’ll rumble on and involve Max ( who must need money from somewhere ?)

Loved today's episode tbh!

So many slaps and punch ups at the christening while the guests just looked on. Gina's face when she worked out her mum had slept with Max was a treat!

Also loved Linda giving Max what for. And Harry to Ravi too. A few home truths here and there were sorely overdue imho!

Ooh where to start… I loved the Branning Beale scenes. There were more punches than I expected at the christening, Max excelled himself.

Max is just such a dirty old dog, he needs dousing in bleach. And the self pity oozes out of him. Max and Harry could have a self-pity-off (Max would win).

Which reminds me, on yesterday’s episode Max even came on to Marie in the cafe. He said “I’m not coming onto you I’m just being friendly” and she gave him the side eye and edged away 😂

And Jasmine gets more and more wooden with every episode. Even Jessie Wallace doesn't look like she believes this nonsense any more.

I haven’t much enjoyed the two episodes so far this week - I just find Max so unlikeable and repetitive (much like a lot of selfish men who won’t take responsibility for their actions). I’ve also been watching with this feeling of worry when watching Jasmine’s scenes wondering and dreading she’s going to be a permanent fixture.

Hopefully the producer will notice that nobody likes Jasmine much and put the whole thing to bed soon.
Leave Oscar to find a new partner and let Kat go back to being the landlady in a pub you actually want to be in! I don’t mind Zoe staying , maybe myson might be a better actor , a nice reunion and let the twins go off and have a lovely life somewhere else!

I’ve just seen the trailer jusy now and it does look like Jack and Jack is speaking to Ian !
Ian has never killed anyone ..

I think he says “his life is just one big game etc. …” so is speaking about Max? As cuts to Max being arrested then?

Laughing at Honey and Billy being the square's go to baby sitters - first Harry, now Nige!
Max is an awful self pitying twat.
He is a user, only have time for Oscar and Lauren when there's no better offer.

Weird about Ian yrying to pay Max off?
He didn't seem to have the money when he said he'd help Lauren out over the stolen charity money, and now barely a week later, he's handing an envelope of cash over to Max.
Aaw Peat-ah was sweet, trying to cheer Lauren up.
I want them to go the distance, relationship wise, they're the Square's childhood sweethearts!
The guest bedrooms in Peacock Palace are hideous, if Max's room is anything to go by - way too frou frou!

So there's a ultrasound scan, the RR Spirit of Ecstasy mascot and then a gun in store for Max in 2026?
Is that what we're supposed to take from the ending scene?

What JackandJack said in the trailer -

Kiss (let's be honest it's Max = Shag) = ultrasound of a baby, hence the reference to the invisible pregnant woman.
Marry - the RR car for the wedding?
Kill - the gun.

My first thought was that Max will be murdered and there’ll be a whodunnit story dragging on for all of 2026, but maybe that’s too obvious.

That interaction with Priya might be significant - could they get together in 2026?

I did read (online ) that Max gets involved with Ravi and the drug dealers. Hard to know if it’s true.

I Hope Lauren and Peter stay together

South I know what you mean about Max being unlikeable and so repetitive - he really is. But I kind of like the way they are playing it, with everyone rolling their eyes about his behaviour and telling him to get lost. That's okay for a week but if it goes on for the rest of the year it will get VERY old. There needs to be some attempt at change and being a decent human being.

I haven't watched today's episode yet, I won't have time until later.

Haven't seen any this week but loving the comments here! Agree I can't be doing with Mad Max and his self pity "but I'm a good dad" and "I've changed" nonsense.

Jake Wood's portrayal of Max is so true to life.

Going by the ending of today’s one, it seems that Max isn’t changing much.
The scan of the baby was ominous and today we saw him checking out Chelsea. She likes a bad boy

Nicola was happy today considering the year she has had! I know she is dealing with Harry, but it doesn’t stop her smiling.

I thought that with Ian and his money offer to Max.
Max must be loaded , he paid 3k for the charity money and living at E ‘ laine’s boutique b and b . What did he do for work before? He must need money now. Peacock palace must be expensive

I am baffled by Ian though. He cannot resist helping Cindy can he! Considering what she has put him
through he still forgives.
I know there is history , but honestly he really blows hot and cold with her
