Happy New Year to all ! I think there is a feminist on the scriptwriting team of EE, I remember George saying to Elaine he was willing to give their marriage another chance after her ONS, and she told him to do one, and now Cindy has sent Ian packing when he was trying to be nice at Christmas. Cindy is Lauren's MIL and Max is Peat-ah's FIL, and yet Cindy and Max did not know each other !

Ian’s face will be a picture at the christening. He’ll probably stick his two pence worth in as well knowing him.

I also found this rather odd too. How could they never have known each other until now? I suppose Cindy's long disappearance must be the reason.

Plot Reasons!

I can understand they would never have met, but you would think Cindy would be vaguely interested in looking online for info about the man who shagged her dead daughter and killed her son.

I can’t believe that Cindy wouldn’t know what Max looked like either , but again it’s the whole ‘ poetic licence ‘ isn’t it ! They tend to abuse the privilege on EE lol

Don’t the police usually have a family liaison officer assigned for any of kind of murder to help the relatives ? I have read enough crime fiction to know that they do.

I think that Kat is only saying this about Zoe so that Jasmine contacts Chrissie. (Although it might be true! )
I know I’m a bit dim around the storylines , but how did Ritchie know about Chrissie ? I may have missed something there as well, who told her ?

Just watched today’s episode. I thought it was a bit ominous, maybe a hint of what’s to come (?) when Lauren walked past the Vic and said ‘if anything happened to one of our boys…’ I hope I’m wrong! I’ll be making these dodgy inferences all year now 😆

Cindy and Max having no idea what each other looks like is silly, agreed.

I feel sad for Patrick, his anguished tormented pacing outside the Vic.

I don’t understand how Richie is Zoe’s solicitor, I thought she was expensive so how are the Slaters affording her? It’s not like she would be a duty solicitor.
