I posted a link to it on the 'live show' thread. Someone has done a comparison reel/tiktok I saw showing the two (identical) dances side by side but I cannot find it again.

Amber is amazing to watch, but does not come across particulalry well. Given she's now been in two dance offs, and the final is only on viewer votes, she won't win - my prediction is Bal out next week (v. Amber), George winning becuase of his fanbase (I would prefer and will vote for Karen).

I think the final should be based on judges, not viewers votes!

It really is a different world, I follow regular people on instagram for a bit of light relief and they probably have a big following but in my head they are not famous or a celebrity.

Yeah one of his things is people doing tasks to win huge prizes/ cash amounts.

That doesn't create engagement though and viewing figures is all that matters. You get buy-in if people feel like they're able to vote for their favourite.

Nancy is great, as is Jowita. Also Michelle.

Had a conversation with DH about the celebrity profile of contestants on Traitors. He seemed to think if he hadn’t heard of them, they were nobodies. I know when I haven’t heard of them it’s because I live u der a rock 🤣

Different demographics know different people. Youngsters only know the acting greats I know, if they were in Harry Potter!

Household names aren’t the same now that we all consume different media. It’s not like the days when there was Wogan and 3 channels.

Does anyone remember when, in the final, there was a vote after the main dances and the finalist with the lowest number of votes was out, and then the remaining finalists would perform their show dance? That would ensure unpopular ringers didn’t win - but would increase the likelihood of social media stars with huge ffollowings winning.
