Sadly Layton left Titanique in June so it will be his replacement, it’s a great musical but not one for children!

My favourite dance of the night was Karen and Carlos. They were definitely under marked.

God I hated Karen's samba. Gave me a headache. Agree with others that there's no light and shade in her dancing - she does a few things brilliantly but she's very inconsistent

Lewis is spectacular but I really didn't love that routine. I really hope he's not in the DO because I want him to win

George did ok but he's another one who's been v inconsistent, and I'd be fine with him going home

Balvinder did GREAT tonight. Too much crying and hugging though.

Amber really is bloody marvellous, although I get why people say she's quite a blank performer and there doesn't seem to be much emotion to her dances. Nikita is v hot 🥵 but he needs to stop pawing and mauling Claudia - she nearly flashed everyone tonight when he picked her up!

According to wiki she's worked consistently in MT every year since 2019. Last year in The Great Gatsby and next year in Legally Blonde.

If I remember properly some of the chat before they danced was with a man in a ringmaster’s jacket. But I was at a difficult part of my knitting tonight and only paying proper attention to the actual dances.

Although I sort-of don’t like ringers on the programme, it’s slightly in the BBC’s and Amber’s favour, in my opinion, that she was brought in at the last minute.

She may well have appeared on the West End stage but not in the lead for anything as far as I know. She’s about to go on a tour of ‘Legally Blonde’ in the lead, but that’s not quite the same.

Since going on Strictly’ it could be her job after that, though.

She trained in Musical Theatre at the Urdang Academy. She's been in five musicals, most recently the Great Gatsby. Apart from Love Island, that's pretty much been her job.
I've no idea why Shirley said she could be on the West End stage because she already has.

I loved Faye and Giovanni's dances too, especially the charleston. Surprised Faye didn't go on to be a musical star.

I'm indifferent about who wins this year. I don't like Karen or amber. I appreciate Lewis in all of his ringer glory. George is just a wet posh boy and Bal is a beautiful woman who's been treated unfairly with all these dance offs but she's definitely the weakest of the lot now.

I felt that Alexis did 90% of that dance. It's fortunate George has a massive tiktok following, he'd have been toast weeks ago.

Faye and Gio’s Lonely Goatherd and skeletons were two of my favourite ever dances. I adored Faye. And they were such a strong partnership.

I haven’t seen last night’s show and I’m avoiding spoilers but have looked at the leaderboard as well as the comments on here. Seems very tight! Makes it more fun. I’m glad to see that Bal wasn’t training by 5 points because it means that the DO could actually be interesting/surprising. We shall see!
