I just said if they do it again he may well do a better job...

If I had a song written about me or for me I would want it to be better than "It's all about you".

I hope so. It did feel a bit off and out of synch but I still prefer watching him to a couple of the others.

There’s better McFly songs than “it’s all about you”

I thought the problem with this musicals week was that mostly the songs just weren't right for the dance style.

My favourite musical ever is Guys and Dolls and I could see that was an impressive Charleston, but I cannot warm to Amber at all, she's just so "musical theatre kid" all the time and it makes her seem insincere.

My votes went to Kaz and Bal.

Who is Tom Fletcher & why don’t people like him?

If he's up against Amber, then he's toast.

If you went this year you could've sat through the Fletcher kids band set instead. My friend did and wasn't impressed!

A member of the boyband McFly. I’m not sure why he’s disliked. I wasn’t keen on him on Strictly, found his and Amy’s routines quite twee, this is an ongoing problem with Amy. In the context of his appearance this evening he’s the writer of the new Paddington musical

I've no idea why he's disliked. I thought he was good with Amy, and an all round good performer.

I liked all the routines. The charlston was amazing.

I really don’t understand how Lewis could get so much criticism from every judge, and then still get 9s. It doesn’t make any sense. They obviously just want to make sure he gets through.

I loved Amber’s dance. She was very worthy of that 40… you know what, good for her. She isn’t the most likeable or genuine but she was born to be in the West End. It would be great if she won - but also not the end of the world if she didn’t, as she’ll still be successful.

Karen dance was undermarked in my opinion. I really enjoyed it. There was loads to like. She was a little stiff in parts. She is a better dancer than George and Bal. That being said, I felt Bal danced well tonight. I don’t see her winning however, and would like it to be the end of the road for her now, bless her.

I think they are harder on him as he’s such a good dancer.

I'm afraid Karen is too much of a one trick pony for me. All her dances have such a similar feel -frantic and lots of staccato arm- waving. I want to see her do something beautiful and controlled....and different.

I think it might not be Bal in the DO

I like Tom… had a huge crush on him as a teenager and that’s lingered a bit. I’m just not keen on his wife, not only because of aforementioned crush on her dh

Just catching up on the thread and want to throw a bit of love for Faye and Giovanni's Loney Goatherd charleston. I regularly rewatch that (and their CC Jazz number).

I was thoroughly underwhelmed by Musicals week - and I love a musical. I just didn't like the music choices and some of the dances were poorly matched. Voted for Lewis - he's the only one there I really enjoy watching. I find Amber so dull, I get no joy from watching her at all. I also just can't connect with Bal either. I find George a bit insipid, but I do like to watch him as he's strangely likable in a puppy dog kinda way. I like Karen but she's very samey and I got bored, there's just no light and shade there at all.

That was the first dance of Amber's I've liked. And the first dance of Lewis's that I've not liked - but more because of the music than his dancing. I really hope he's not in the dance off.

I thought Faye had done a Charleston for musicals week, but then got confused with that Fosse inspired couple’s choice and got confused. I loved that Charleston they did

I know, stylistically similar in that they were both very Musical Theatre. The Charleston was Musicals Week (Sound of Music) and the CC was Halloween - they were dressed/themed as skeletons.

Yes overall it was underwhelming.

Amber was easily the best but I really don’t know why she is there really (see also Layton) so may not get the votes

Bal was my favorite tonight. didn’t like George, not sure about Karen (usually my favourite) and Lewis although he’s clearly great that dance didn’t work great for him really.
