I think Nikita looked shocked at the praise they got from the judges and the scores for their jive as he knew it wasn’t that great. The steps were so fast that Amber couldn’t properly execute them. They both knew it and I am sure Craig and the other judges saw it too. Not a 40 dance.

I think several couples also made mistakes in their main dance as they were revisiting other dance styles ready for Instant Dance. They probably spent half a day revising other styles and practicing snippets of previous dances which gave some celebs step confusion in their main dance.

I thought it was just me, because I didn't think it was a 40 performance. Amber seem to run out of steam by the end, and I thought it was messy in places.

I think it will be between Lewis & Karen.

I don’t understand why if a celebrity drops out last minute it means you need a ringer. Any vaguely famous non dancer would do surely. They should stop having ringers

I do agree with this .

They are working people.
They need the job .
Are they really supposed to say ..oh no I wont do it as I might be a bit better that everyone else .

Like those on Celebrity...they are all out for exposure .

I like the ringers. I really don’t want to watch newsreaders, footballers and 80s soap stars go from very bad dancers to ok dancers. I wouldn’t watch it if there weren’t some good dancers from the start.

I’d love it more if there were ONLY ringers. But then I like the dancing, not the ‘journey’.

I’d love an All Stars season of the best of the best from previous seasons. Spare me the potatoes that can’t dance… (I am very intolerant in the early rounds)

I like the mixture of ringers, absolute beginners and everything in between you get on Strictly. It’s never going to please everyone, but I think they mostly strike the right balance - as much as is humanly possible.

So.... maybe a different sort of dance show then? Perhaps the one Lewis did well in?

The 2 main ringers are only in it because they were last-minute replacements. The show would have been very different without them. Maybe a George, Karen and Bal (the woman with 10 lives) final??

I’d like to see a non celebrity strictly. Just Joe Public.

Oh I liked the “generation game” feel of the foray about dresses etc - it was uplifting to see some live tv fiasco

Dani Dyer might have been a final contender, but if those 3 were the final it wouldn't be of the standard of previous finals.

Me too. It was fun, light and made us laugh. Just what we needed!

If they did that, they would be at a disadvantage already by the lack of practice.

Amber, Lewis and Karen deserve their place on Strictly and you may not like it, but they have just as much a right to win it if they have enough votes.

@2Rebecca the other contestants have been practicing for a few weeks. Late replacements need a starting knowledge to have a fighting chance.

I really enjoyed the chaos and silliness. Loved George and his coat, though he may have himself when he watches back 🤣

Just find her so insincere OF COURSE she is happy to do Musicals week thats her bread and butter
