Tony, from Eastenders, who abused Whitney, for me.

He is Kev in Emmerdale now. No idea if he is a neerdowell there as well, but I cant see past my hatred for him for Whitney 🤷‍♀️

See also: Carlton Banks from The Fresh Prince - he will forever be associated with the Tom Jones dance.

i have a big problem with Theo James after he played a massive dick in the Inbetweeners film. No matter how pretty he is I always notice the way his mouth twists when he talks

He also turned up in Lost and I was just thinking ‘that’s Jim’.

Kev has been a big success in Emmerdale-surprisingly funny and providing a few moments of light relief before switching to terrifying psychopath! Never has a man looked more menacing in a pinny with a feather duster! But I try hard not to watch EE, so don’t remember him well. He’s left the show for now, but there’s a few storylines which would easily bring him back!
Robin Hood is Michael Praed.
Iwan Rheon is Simon from Misfits!
definitely showing my age!

Louise Fletcher as Nurse Mildred Ratched.

Yeah! Good one. I could never see her face again without reading malevolence in it.

Tucker from Grange Hill.

Tucker from Grange Hill.

So true, apart from when he played Gabriel in The Bill.

And Mark Fowler in EastEnders. I don’t think he’s relevant to this thread.

James Norton in Happy Valley!

Definitely! He's in House of Guinness, and I can't stop thinking how creepy he was in Happy Valley.

All this Robin Hood discussion, where is the love for this guy?!

Kevin Costner my arse.

Dominic West playing Fred West. I still love him in The Wire but I can't watch him in anything new, he just reminds me of Fred West and creeps me out! I don't think he's suffered from it though, he seems to do very well.

I was going to say him too.

ladygindiva · 12/12/2025 23:29

The only and best Robin Hood was Michael Praed .

Thanks for the Praed love and the pic was much appreciated

Alex Ferns, who played Trevor in Eastenders, little Mo’s abusive husband.

I saw him playing a policeman in a drama before and nope, he can’t possibly be a policeman he will always be that awful chilling character to me.

It's probably already been said (apologies if I've missed it) but he popped up on Chernobyl as a VERY naked hero. Both elements of his role were astonishing to me, given his evil Trevor-ness.

Chernobyl is brilliant btw, if you've not yet seen it.
