Elaine prefers a more polished man and Ian is usually same old coat and top ( which look a bit tired and grubby)
i know she had a fling with polyester man, but he had some charm and looked smart ( ish ) George always looks ok. I think E needs someone with a bit more about them!

Why is Antnee never at work! He looked surprised at Lauren returning the key and his lanyard, so he clearly isn’t there much.
Ian is saving up the theft of the charity money for Christmas isn’t he! It’s bound to come out , especially when the nice charity lady shows up again to find out where the money is! I was hoping he would offer her the money and ask her to pay it back , but he didn’t :(
I know it’s not in his nature, but Jimmy is his grandson and his made enough mistakes himself historically

I dont think he is her type either but he’s got form for charming the ladies so you never know. Plus it’s so ridiculous it would make EE sense.

Yeah ! Guess so re Ian and ‘ Lorraine’ .
Ian has pulled some stunners in the past, out of his league women too. He can charm them into bed.

Bring back polyester suit man! For someone who made a one off brief appearance months ago he has made his mark.

Ew 🤢 Antnee's comments to Zoe

‘Fundraiser of the month’ when they have not even had the money yet! I am also quite confused about why it ‘matters’ it is a scam. Lauren still stole the money, would she feel okay about if the treatment was genuine? She would still have stolen the money!

And yet again it’s broad daylight and Antnee is in the Vic having a glass of wine. And having arguments on the phone with is wife. Doctoring is very part time.

The Kim scenes were everything I dislike about Kim. I don’t find her total lack of self awareness funny!

Imagine having a Ring doorbell in Walford. You could catch the postie stealing your deliveries and the local copper shooting a civilian …

Zoe you’re right. This really is never going to stop. (Yet when she was with Antnee it apparently did stop.)

I think Lily is a good call.

There's speculation on fb that Jasmine is Cindy's granddaughter, with Steven possibly being her dad. I'm not sure how that works timeline wise, or if the ice mum mentioned that Jasmine's dad was dead or alive

Antnee would make sense (which doesn't mean it's him, probably the opposite the way this is going) but - he is never at work so has plenty of time on his hands. And he's obsessed with Zoe, and very angry.

If it’s Lily, she’s a complete psycho and a safeguarding risk to Charleeee.

But seeing as children’s social care don’t seem to give a flying fig that Lily - 15 and a mum - has been abandoned by her mother (who’s run off to Copacabana) and been left in the care of her bipolar nan….I doubt there will be any action on that front.

Whether or not Antknee is the stalker, he’s a complete creep and yes, a lazy GP. I don’t think anyone has done any real work at that surgery since Dr Legg.

Also, why have they turned Howie from the cheeky children’s entertainer who healed Kim’s broken heart after Vincent into a thieving, robbing toe rag? Is the character on his way out?

I did read ages ago that Howie was leaving , but you never know on the socials if it’s true or not.
He is just a tea leaf, he was previously with Vincent’s stuff and Kim met him pretending to be him via his ID. Leopards never change their spots eh ?

70s I guess that Ian is ( very loosely ) related to Lorraine ! ! lol
They are all related in some way 😂

I feel I am the only one who does though ! She can be funny sometimes.

I just find her bloody irritating and not funny. I don't think she used to be this bad I think the writers have turned her into a comedy character.

I think Kim is quite popular (although not with me!) I find her as funny as toothache.

I think Howie will have to leave after defrauding Patrick, never mind stealing all his neighbours' parcels. You're right 80s he started as a thief and he's ending as one!

😭 I love Kim but agree that theyve turned her into a bit of a caricature. There was one time where her dramatic response was so over the top and unrealistic but ive forgotten now

These new writers just try to force stuff in, rather than letting things develop naturally 🙄🙄

If I were on the writing team, I would have an affair go on, between two longstanding characters

Dunno who though, but something drawn out and really gripping, not that nonsense with Jack and stacey sleeping together 🙄

Maybe Kim would go through a bout of depression, and find her feet and fall in love with Phil 🤷‍♀️ - we'd get to see a serious side to her

I agree that Ee-laine is waaay over-camping. It's something Shaz is excellent at, she never overdoes it.

A long term affair would be such a great idea, it could tie into other storylines along the way. Phil and Kim though ... nooo, poor Phil 😆

I love Kim too and think she’s really funny.

But it could be interesting to see her grow up and be serious - and Phil did bring pearl into the world..
