I’ve only just found out the actress who plays Vicky is the daughter of David Haig (he is possibly most famous for Four Weddings and The Thin Blue Line.) Now I know, I can’t unsee how much she look like him.

I was really annoyed by that court case surely the magistrates should not have allowed that line of questioning - they were there to decide did Joel assault her not its completely irrelevant about when his mum and dad split up.

Also, I would have expected her to have some protective measures in place, like a screen.
Any magistrates on here please comment!

I didn’t think magistrates did criminal proceedings other than committals but maybe it’s different for youth courts? Happy for someone to clarify!

I’m an old timer; been watching EE since Feb 1985 but this is the worst it’s ever been. I’m not interested in the Jasmine stuff or Zoe and then it took another downturn with Linda’s friend coming into it. I haven’t watched last week’s or this week and that’s practically unheard of for me. I started watching and when Jasmine came into the square on the back of the milk float I thought I can’t do this anymore. Life is short and this is scraping the barrel

And yes, the Vicki actress is her Dad's double. I think she's a great actress and character, and I think the Joel storyline has been gripping. I kind of hope Joel is back in it for a while, his acting is brilliant, he's so believable.

there. Zac isn’t the most reliable of people , so I can understand why she isn’t sure about him.

I agree @Blondeshavemorefun I don't think Joel is really sorry at all that happened far too quickly, I think he saw that he would lose and cut his losses in hopes of a shorter sentence. Don't know what his lawyer was thinking of not pushing him to do that in the first place. Incidentally how does he, a child who grew up in Australia, get to call the solicitor (or barrister) his 'brief'?
