I thought that Sam and George looked good together, but G is with Nicola New Year’s Day , so it does seem they make a go of it ., unless it’s a red herring.

Cindy and Max is a good pairing to get rid of Jasmine .
They both dislike and distrust her.

I wonder if Cindy was also behind the door and saw what happened? It’s only a guess, but people may believe Jasmine as Max has a chequered past and he may find it hard to defend himself here! She is a nightmare

Come to think of it, I find it weird Yolande was looking after Nigel. Her stepson died less than a month ago in awful circumstances and they must have a funeral to organise. I wouldn’t have been asking her to look after Nigel.

But I’m finding the Anthony’s murder storyline very odd. Any mention of him is mostly in relation to Zoe and Jasmine. I know Anthony wasn’t as major a character this time around, but it feels like once his funeral, and any trial is over, he’ll be lucky to mentioned again.

Anthony’s murder was just another one of those ‘ just for plot purposes’ wasn’t it.

Kat sticking up for Jasmine when Lauren started on her was purely because she is family. Although they don’t know any of this for certain because nobody has bothered with a proper DNA test !

Who is this new Mark Fowler that rocked up at Phil's? I have no memory of him. I probably don't pay as much attention as I should.😁

Mark junior is the man in the green jacket New Year’s Day , so clearly going to be around ( and trouble I guess ) Michelle and Grant’s son.
I also don’t remember him last time around either. Not sure when he came into it or anything .

I don’t think he was in it that long , may have been when new head Chelle was on it , but not sure tbh.

Wasn't he in it as a teenager at one point and about to get it on with Grant's daughter Courtney, which is where it came out that he was his son as Michelle had to nip that in the bud pronto. I don't think Grant knew before that.

Or maybe I've made that up. It rings a bell though.

I really don’t recall Mark jnr and Courtney , but it probably explains how he found out she was his half sibling! .. was that the old Michelle ?
Does Courtney live with Grant ?

Mark jnr called Phil uncle, so he must know who Grant is etc. It is hard to tell though as many of the stories were so long ago and he may have called Phil uncle as an affectionate term of phrase ( it was common to do this with non relatives etc ) although that is unlikely here. I wish I could remember him . I don’t recall him at all.

New head, I think. Courtney just vanished....I'm sure she'll reappear in the fullness of time, along with Louise and extraneous other Mitchells.

I think I zoned out a bit of new head imposter Chelle.
She was having an affair with a younger man in Australia ( or somewhere ) and ran off back home to Sharon, I do recall this. May have been a pupil at her school even !
Everyone wasn’t happy with a new head one ( plus she was pretty awful ) so it was short interlude really.
