In my memory the result show was more like 15 minutes, no musical act, no judges chat/contestant chat nothing @AnAlpacaForChristmasPleaseSanta

Ah ha that makes sense. Too be honest I have pretty much no memory of the pre Sunday results show other than the heart in mouth feeling of waiting for my favourite to get through which is why I now read the spoilers. But never tell.

I also quite like the judges interview, chatting with the through couples and sometimes an extra pro dance (when they don't resemble a fever dream).

I can’t guess at which way the series will go for the second half. Lewis is more likeable than Amber and I don’t know if his soap persona means he reads as less ringer-y so could win the ultimate public vote. George would have to absolutely smash every week and/or have a few major standouts to be in with a chance for me. Harry, Le Voix - not good enough to win. Vicky too irritating but assuming no dance background she’s probably performing the best/most improved. Love Alex and Bal but don’t think either have the popularity to carry rhem through. So maybe Karen will come through all of that to end up on top?

Can someone also tell her please that she's not a comedian and just because you say something in a North East accent it doesn't automatically make it hilarious.

Initially and for a few years they didn’t even have a dance off. I’d bring that back personally, you came last in the public vote? Off you trot

Best case scenario for me would be the quick results bit on Saturday night then maybe a shorter show with judges’ comments, group dance, guest singer etc shown on Sunday night. The papers would have been full of Strictly on Sunday if results were known immediately; we’d all have had enough by Monday, so maybe they could give ITT a rest until Tuesday.

I wonder if reality Tv people are given a character/persona and just stick with it? I had to fast forward her upstairs her screaming and jumping around is infuriating, .

@AnAlpacaForChristmasPleaseSanta I resent the judges vote because it keeps in couples the audience doesn’t like and in some cases sees them through to the final

I said last week it was her personality but I don't think it is now.

I’m more bored with La Voix’s schtick than I am with Vicky’s tbh

They've always recorded the results show on Saturday after the main recording as far as I am aware.

Least we know la voix is an actual act.

The Sunday show has ALWAYS been recorded after the main show on a Saturday. Nothing to do with Bruce’s needs or wants

At least LaVoix is trying to be amusing, as opposed to just screaming.

I like vicki she seems a genuinely nice woman and I loved her on I'm a celebrity but the over excitement is excruciating,

Yes, I'm sure that she's a nice person.
She actually comes across quite well on ITT, but it's a calmer environment, perhaps? I think she's doing really well, it's just her over reactions, really. 😊

Vicky doesn’t bother me in the least not sure why. I also don’t find her performative just a bit hyper. I haven’t voted for her once by the way!

As long as the Results Show pulls in millions of viewers they will keep it on a Sunday. I don't like the tweaks they've made to it in the last couple of years; makes it seem a bit flat and less of an event. I would also like it if instead of the endless repetitive VTs and talks with the judges they would have a pro couple do a proper demo dance, as they did back in the day when they had Flavia and Vincent show you how an AT should be done or Erin and Anton do a proper VW.

I miss the days when the occasional celeb would have a fun clap back at the judges so I don't mind La Voix's act. Breaks things up a bit from the usual 'I will take on board the judges' advice and learn from it.' The problem with Vicky is she attempts to present herself as authentic but is totally scripted. She comes out with the same rehearsed lines on ITT then repeats them in her talks with Claudia. All the 'little old me' stuff is very wearing.

I prefer Lewis's dancing to Amber's because his style is more athletic and energetic. He pushes himself to the edge and that is sometimes brilliant but sometimes too much, giving him a sense of jeopardy. Amber's style is very neat and careful and fearful of making mistakes, but that makes it pretty safe and boring.
