I don't think there's ever an elimination leg in the celebrity version.
I guess they all get an appearance fee, so I suppose BBC wants to make the most of them?
Theres also no cash prize I think (unless it's different this year).

Sorry if I sound dumb. But no travelling after dark means no epic overnight coach trip? So relying on hotels every night. Which can eat into budgets more and not the most salubrious potentially

sorry but sharing in a group circle around a camp fire with a bunch of strangers is my idea of hell. And any aspect of the race would be so much easier than that. And my motivation to get to checkpoint first

I have very fond memories of horse riding around Lake Atitlan and just wondering around. Such a fascinating country.

Back in the 90s I stayed in houses for a few pence a night. Not sure the celebs can do the same.

They’re protesting over mandatory vehicle insurance. So strange when you think it’s obligatory here that it’s not everywhere.
