Has anyone watched this (UK). I'm dying to...if you have, how? Is it as good as I think it will be?

Loved the first series, 2nd one is taking its time. Not enjoying not being able to binge it, I think that’s affecting my love for it

oh i have just seen there are only 4 episodes in series 2!
i presume more will come?

There are 15 episodes in S2

Seems they will come every Friday?

I think HBO Max have made a massive error in not "dropping" the entire season 2 for people to watch in one go.
It had it's final episode last Thursday in the USA.
You can't glance at the internet without reading spoilers.
If you can find a way to watch it that isn't HBO Max then I highly recommend you do.

Agree, we need to binge it, months and months for one shift is too much. Could you link your thread, I need to know the secret!

I watched it via this site (which another Mumsnetter shared to me so BIG 🥰 to them).
All of season 2 is on there.

@Parsnips88 I did like watching it week by week like the old days of telly - it just needs to be simultaneously shown when the USA shows it. Not ages later.

Yeah, my medic DS says there’s no way one department would be treating all the specialties under the sun like that. I’m on series 2 and they were doing dentistry at one point!

I think it keeps up the interest in it having weekly episodes

I thought it was stunning. They got the tiny details of what it’s like to work in a hospital right. Fighting for my life trying to avoid spoilers for S2 so might check out that link 😬

You need to watch the credits in the final episode of season 2 when you see it.

I’m not currently watching it, but I think Shawn Hatosy is hot as f**k.

He's incredible in this, and he is indeed hot as fuck!

We don't see his character much because he's the nightshift 🙁

I think there should be a "at least one scene with Dr Abbott wearing no shirt" requirement for each season...

Oh, absolutely! The way he takes control in complex trauma situations....that man would Get Things Done.

I'm enjoying it but it's a pain in the hole with the weekly drops, if I had any self restraint or discipline I'd wait & just binge it because it can be pretty slow

Also agreeing on Dr. Abbott featuring more in all ways 😍

Shawn Hatosy can be seen in his younger days in Southland on Netflix,in police uniform (he was a detective to start with but decided he preferred being in uniform) LAPD police series, just brilliant. I almost fell off the sofa when he first took his shirt off!

It’s great. I love it.

We are onto series 2. Love it although it is a bit over the top in cramming everything possible into what is essentially 1 shift. Each series is a shift.

Oh thank you so much! I like cop dramas anyway, Third Watch I think was the last one I watched full on so I'll def give this a go, it sounds right up my street

Of course the promise of a uniform sweetened the deal 😍
