Recently I've started watching Victoria....not sure how old that is.

MamaBobo · 03/11/2025 19:09

Ghosts
Derry Girls
Doc Martin
Gavin and Stacey (we only had to wait a few weeks to find out how it ended)

Anotherdayanotherdollar · 03/11/2025 19:14

Scrubs.
I really want to watch Downtown Abbey, but it feels like too much commitment at this stage!

Happy Valley, only watched it last year.

Same. I watched it for the first time a few weeks ago. Brilliant.

Also Race Around the World.

Countsounds · 03/11/2025 19:19

The US Office. Saw a bit of an episode while channel hopping and thought everything about it looked wrong (loved the English version). Then people told me it was brill. Stuck through a few episodes and after 1st series absolutely loved it.

HaroldMeaker · 03/11/2025 19:20

The Walking Dead! Amazing and thousands of episodes. I binged the lot last year about 15 years after everyone else.

Wallabyone · 03/11/2025 19:21

A really lovely Australian series called ‘A Place to Call
Home’.

The Blacklist-watching it with my teen and we love it!

The Detectorists - can watch it over and over.

Sparkletastic · 03/11/2025 19:29

Have just started Brassic. DH and I are absolutely loving it.

localbutterfly · 03/11/2025 19:31

Charmed - the original one which aired from 1998 to 2006, not the reprised version that started in 2018. I'm kind of its natural demographic, being San Franciscan and roughly the age of its oldest heroine (Pru). I think I avoided it for a long time thinking it was cheesy (and it is), but living in the UK and waking up to it on Channel 4 I've now watched just about every episode, I think.

hnwis · 03/11/2025 19:35

Derek!! And started homelands just last night too!

merryredtoad · 03/11/2025 19:35

Dallas

Whenwillthewashingend · 03/11/2025 19:38

The Walking Dead.
Greys Anatomy.
The Handmaids Tale.
I’m currently on Series 4 of Bones.

LindorDoubleChoc · 03/11/2025 19:38

Breaking Bad - I watched it during the first Covid lockdown.

Then of course Better Call Saul, which I consider to be the best TV series I have ever watched, including all the incredible British ones I'm so fond of.

So I'm glad I ventured into Breaking Bad years after everyone else.

Downton Abbey! My DM watched it and thought it was good so told me to watch it. I recorded it on our tv box but never got round to watching it then we moved house and lost the recordings. Watched it for the first time a few years ago and I’ve watched the whole lot multiple times plus all the films - it’s one of my comfort watching programmes now.

Foyle’s War - DH loves this and has them on DVD, I’d never seen them but love them too now.

And The Good Life, which is from the 70s but was rerun when I was early teens on Sundays around the same time as the Sunday soaps were on, I used to watch them with my nan.
