I've really enjoyed this series and I didn't think I would as I usually hate the celebrity version of anything. I do think it puts a different take on it though when many of the players know each other and some are even friends. I hated the trying not to offend at the round table (I'm only voting for you because you are so clever) and all the arse licking of Stephen Fry, mainly from David. I do prefer the non celeb version overall.

This isn’t your normal of Traitors where ordinary people are playing for a great amount of money. These are celebs playing for a charity and a bit of fun. Why on earth would JR have so much animosity against Cat and Alan for voting him out that he’d then want to implicate them? He’s said a number of times post exit that he wants Cat to win. But it seems like you don’t even want to take his word for it so we’ll have to agree to disagree!

It's the way he played the entire game!

Alan made a huge mistake in murdering Celia.

They should have murdered Nick for 2 reasons:

  1. to break up the Joe/Nick alliance
  2. for there to be 2 women left

I don't think Celia would have believed Cat was a traitor and instead would have voted for Joe - it would have been just Alan, Cat, Celia & David left - they could have easily banished Celia, saying how great she'd be, and then Alan & Cat would have banished David & split the win!

Edited

Celia was the only sensible choice.

However, they should have murdered Nick on the chess board so that either Kate or Lucy ended up in the final and could be eliminated as the female traitor.

Let’s not have a go at Joe for leaving his glass, let’s have a go at Cat instead for not picking up after him 😂

This! Fuck me …!

PeonyPatch · 31/10/2025 20:42

Who gives a shit about the glass! 😂

dagoo · 31/10/2025 20:47

Who do we think has come out of this well career wise and who not?

Kate and David not, also I think Stephen Fry did himself no favours really by enjoying all the ridiculous fawning over his huge intellect the fact he has read some books

Nick was the highlight for me, Alan has been unbelievably entertaining and I think Cat has played a blinder too. Celia also a great character

CeliaFarts · 31/10/2025 20:53

Agree with you on Kate and David and I’d add Ruth as not coming out of this particularly well.

I think Cat and Nick will come out of this well, and possibly the two Joes - particularly if they team up for something

Agreed - Kate seemed like a complete idiot, Tom unnecessarily bitchy, Irish girl nasty, Claire unlikeable & I’ve never liked Stephen Fry so that doesn’t leave many!

Tiswa · 31/10/2025 21:43

Celia as well I think comes out well as well

YetiRosetti · 31/10/2025 21:55

I thought David came out of it pretty well! Seems intelligent and nice.

Nick and Celia have been the true stars though

Intelligent and nice but clueless! I don’t think he’s ever voted for any of the traitors.

Tiswa · 31/10/2025 22:20

Ruth Codd I watched in the Mike Flanagan horror series she was in and I don’t think she was acting that much!

Agreed! Now I've seen her in the Traitors I think she was just playing herself in that and Irish Blood.

I wasn't judging either of them, just making an observation. I just found it odd that anyone would pick up one glass instead of two. Why would you pick one up and leave the only other one there if you knew the other person had left?

Why should a woman feel the need to clear up anything left behind by a man?

I didn't bring sex into it at all. I just thought if I was leaving and picking up my glass and there happened to be another, I'd pick that up too, no matter who'd left it. I wouldn't think about it much. It would just be an efficient thing to do. I'd have thought the same if the roles had been reversed. And can you imagine the reaction on here if Joe had left last, taken his glass and left Cat's?

ThePoshUns · 01/11/2025 07:35

I think the only person thinking about this is you!

I still don't understand the Ruth & Claire hate. They were both sure Jonathan was a traitor and no-one was listening to them which was very frustrating.

I also don't get the "Joe is a misogynist" theory.
He's done a pretty good job of trying to lead the faithfuls and the only person that he wrongfully attacked was Mark.

It's a good thing they moved the final - too many people out on Halloween.

I don't mind if it's a Joe/Nick or Cat/Alan win though I think the former is more likely unless the traitors can persuade David to vote Joe out.

She probably didn't even notice, they were chatting. She was getting herself organised to leave remembered her own,

This is a fun piece about JR's fab wardrobe.

His wardrobe was fab - I know he has always had a strong personal style but I love seeing older straight men being so sartorially uninhibited.

Just listened to TRIE. Richard and Marina think there will be some kind of twist in the final episode, just because whilst it would be nice to let it play out - as a producer why wouldn’t you!

They agree Joe M has had “the hero edit” because he is the one who has got the most right throughout the series.

Also look out for Marina’s reaction to a voice note they have received 😜

except that he hasn’t been the one most correct, he has been taking ideas from others, notably Nick who he seems to have latched onto like a leech. The hero edit would be more accurate if applied to Celia or Nick or in the early days Joe W.

xsquared · 01/11/2025 09:33

What an unpleasant way to describe a contestant for forming an alliance with another. Perhaps he trusts Nick because at least Nick shows he's listening?

I've never heard of Joe before Celebrity Traitors, but I have enjoyed watching him and to be fair, at least he is playing an active role in trying to find a strategy to get the traitors banished.

Holluschickie · 01/11/2025 09:44

Subjective but IMHO those who came out of it well:
The 3 Traitors.
The two Joes.
Nick
Celia
Claire ( gone too soon)

Those who didn't
Kate
Lucy
Ruth
Tameka
Stephen

Tiswa · 01/11/2025 09:45

Latching on and forming and alliance is the only way through the game - the Joes had it and now it is Joe and Nick and it is a good partnership as the skills complement each other.

They trust each other I think 100% but David is still a rogue element here

the traitors made a mistake murdering Lucy and not Nick and the faithful incompetence in the beginning aided them now as no recruitment can be made

and that is the flaw of the game I think that early uselessness helps
