I agree that Joe was at fault. But if I'd been Cat, I would have picked up both glasses (instead of leaving one for someone else to have to deal with) and maybe mentioned it to Joe in the morning. Or could somebody have called him back when he left without it? 'Hey, Joe - you've forgotten your glass!'

I can just imagine his response. " YES CAT I KNOW! THANK YOU"

No idea why women are supposed to pick up after men or mention stuff to them..

Mentioned the fact he had left a glass to him in the morning?? Oh come off it 😂 They’re not in an isolated set like Big Brother, they’re being paid to be on a show that is being filmed with a number of crew like runners, ADs and camera men. It’s not that big of a deal for someone to leave a glass around. Lovely that Cat took hers back to the castle but it really wasn’t the end of the world if a cup got left behind and definitely wasn’t her responsibility to call her it out

This is not a social occasion where you would be being rude to leave your host to deal with glasses left out in the garden at the end of a night! Out of shot, but visible to all the players, there will have been a small army of runners and assistants who have a job on the Celebrity Traitors set precisely to do the catering/set dressing/clearing up/dishwashing. I find it completely mad that people are behaving as if leaving a glass behind on a set is some kind of huge social gaffe or a sign of inherent selfishness!

He saw that the walkers were being given shields by their guides. He wanted the shield.

Well of course he wanted the shield, hell everyone wanted the shield. Still got to ensure his partner didn't want to do the bridge and that he didn't fall off. He's a big man, I was convinced he would fall off the bridge and if he did fall off the bridge then the shield would have stayed where it was. I don't see rigging here but who knows

I didn't think it would be the end of the world. It would just be one less job for a runner or cleaner to do and it would have taken no extra effort from Cat. I've worked in hospitality and f I can make someone else's job a bit easier, I will. It's just a case of being thoughtful.

Did I say it was a huge social gaffe? No. But even those crew and runners are human beings and there's no harm in treating them like people (like the host in your scenarios) too. I'm reminded of some of the kids I taught who'd drop litter and complain if they were told to pick it up, saying that was the cleaner's job.

Holluschickie · 31/10/2025 10:48

Why on earth would Cat draw more attention to herself now by ' mentioning' it to Joe?

Cat has got a lot of stick on here for being dull, sly, sneaky, boring but being blamed for not picking up after a man is really beyond belief.

Re Joe getting the shield… I would argue nothing is random in pre-recorded television. The producers know everything.

I think the show would’ve sucked if Joe went. It would’ve been quite boring although Alan makes great TV, he would’ve carried the show. The production team definitely know what they’re doing.

HillOf · 31/10/2025 10:52

It’s not remotely similar. The contestants aren’t party guests or unpleasant children saying it’s the cleaner’s job to deal with their litter. They have been cast in a tv show to play a particular role, which doesn’t involve them bustling about clearing up after themselves. Someone else, standing just out of shot, has a job precisely in order to do that.

CaveMum · 31/10/2025 10:54

Just listened to TRIE. Richard and Marina think there will be some kind of twist in the final episode, just because whilst it would be nice to let it play out - as a producer why wouldn’t you!

They agree Joe M has had “the hero edit” because he is the one who has got the most right throughout the series.

Also look out for Marina’s reaction to a voice note they have received 😜

What happens if Nick and Joe are the 2 left at the end, then Nick has a wobble and suspects Joe? How do they end the game? Or would they have to end it once they are down to two players?

Edited

Yes they have to end when it’s only 2 left

Why are they delaying the final? What does the BBC gain from that?

Also, do we think it was rigged for Joe to get a shield? By making him and David the last pair it was guaranteed he’d take the shield. Without it they’d have murdered him for sure.

Well I am glad they are delaying the final till next Thursday, because if it was on tonight as originally planned, I'd miss it!

i think they still would have murdered Celia due to it being easier for Alan to murder her in plain sight. I can’t imagine Alan saying ‘parting is such sweet sorrow Joe’

I agree-this has really wound me up.

Would people judge Joe if he didn't clear up after Cat??
Or expect him to?

I did wonder if the Palace has been watching and it prompted Andrew's banishment.

I didn't think David was nasty to Kate around the round table, just forensic in his questioning style whereas Kate is emotional. Doesn't matter though because they've both been hopeless at the game 😀. I wonder if David has learned that he can't trust his reasoning skills? I think I would if I was in there.

I agree now. It was me (may have been others too) who remarked on David 'turning nasty' at the round table but I had been distracted and when I rewatched it, I could see he was just a bit frustrated at Kate interrupting him so I take that back.

Poor Kate; I too wish she'd stop putting herself down.

The final will be interesting because I think David, who has never been very perceptive, now trusts his perception even less because he's been so wrong.

I want either lovely Nick to win or the traitors.

I'm not mad about Joe. I don't know if he hates women but they certainly seem to be an irrelevance for him.

CrimsonStoat · 31/10/2025 13:07

I wonder if that's how he feels changed, completely feeling he can't trust himself!

ThePoshUns · 31/10/2025 13:07

AuntyAngela · 31/10/2025 08:47

I'd like either Alan and Cat to win together or the faithfuls to win.

Don't understand all the Joe hate on here - accusations of him being a bully and aggressive due to behaviour also displayed by others or simply because he was playing the game properly, but also having fun.

I knew watching the laser task there would be posters from here tieing themselves in knots about how horrible he was that he got irritated that as he was already struggling due to his size he had multiple people shouting different things at him, rather than just one voice help as all the others had got.

It all hinges on David and his mellifluous voice now. Nick is in witj Joe, so if David goes with Joe's theory then there will be a three faithful win. If he goes with Alan and Cat, it'll be a Traitor win.

I’m with you. I don’t see Joe as being aggressive or bullying. He is a sportsman, so competitive.
I think he has been the best at smoking out the traitors, he’s just struggled to get others to listen to him.
i hope him and Nick win.

Marvelftw · 31/10/2025 09:19

Not true, Paloma’s murder in plain sight was when it was just herself and Alan. The murders seem incredibly obvious to us as an audience, but if you were there, if done well it’s so subtle you’d literally be racking your brain thinking it could be anything

@Holluschickie JR only said that to try and through people off Cat and Alan. Also people were starting to suspect them before he had said anything anyway

Edited

Jonathan Ross mentioned Cat and Alan in order to implicate them.

He now says he did it to take the heat off them, which sounds like nonsense because no one would remember that he'd never mentioned them before.

He nearly got to the end by reasoning his way out of his dubious actions, and this is no different.

Anyone taking what he says at face value is as taken in as the faithful were.

ThatCyanCat · 31/10/2025 13:23

I don't see how Joe is any less likable than all the traitors who go on about how clever they are and laugh at the faithful when they obviously have a massive advantage and all the knowledge. It's what usually makes me root for the faithful, traitors acting like they're incredibly clever rather than just having all the advantage.

LillyPJ · 31/10/2025 13:29

MrsMitford3 · 31/10/2025 11:48

I wasn't judging either of them, just making an observation. I just found it odd that anyone would pick up one glass instead of two. Why would you pick one up and leave the only other one there if you knew the other person had left?

WestwardHo1 · 31/10/2025 13:32

I'm getting the feeling that a few posters feel like they "should" dislike Joe M because he's an Alpha Male rugby type so they're just searching for things to add to the list. Fine: you don't like him. No he's not a Nick (though Nick seems to like him well enough). But a glass left on the table?

marshmallowmix · 31/10/2025 13:34

Nick to win for me !

He was ace at the task last night the lasers.

Why do we have to wait a week for the final?

Ilovehighlandcows · 31/10/2025 13:38

Alan made a huge mistake in murdering Celia.

They should have murdered Nick for 2 reasons:

  1. to break up the Joe/Nick alliance
  2. for there to be 2 women left

I don't think Celia would have believed Cat was a traitor and instead would have voted for Joe - it would have been just Alan, Cat, Celia & David left - they could have easily banished Celia, saying how great she'd be, and then Alan & Cat would have banished David & split the win!

TessTickle0 · 31/10/2025 13:49

CeliaFarts · 30/10/2025 21:42

Has that ever happened that someone has voted for themselves?

Yes in the new zealand version( or maybe australia)
A faithful voted for him self-because he was all a dither and didnt know who was who! It was funny
