I haven’t watched Traitors, before this Celebrity series - can you explain about the shields? Do they only get it for that day?

Yes. I think some versions have made the shield protect people from banishment as well.

Personally I like seeing a mix of personalities on the show as they all bring something different to it. Also, remember just how much the show is edited, it's the producers who are controlling the narrative and how much we see of each player. Also for those critical of Cat, I was struck by the fact that JR admitted on Uncloaked, how many of the Traitor's decisions were driven by her...

So, tonight we'll see who's murdered but I wonder if they'll do a cliffhanger again with the banishment?

I thought it was a bit unfair that the shield got removed from the previous owner and given to the next one in the bridge task, as it wasn't up to them what order they went in, so really it was just for the last person. And they worked so hard to get them - it looked genuinely terrifying, and impressive!

(though I realise at this late stage, you can't have too many people protected, or there'd be no-one left to murder!)

@BIWI shields have never protected from banishment in the UK version, only murder. And yes they only have them for that day

Me too. The jacket looked silk.

Their names were drawn at random from a bag by Claudia, so the order they did the task was pure chance. And of course, there was no guarantee they would cross the bridge without falling off, and the bag catcher had to do their bit as well.
