I could be wrong, but I think this is the first series to not have recruitment.
Thanks to how useless the Faithful are. They really do not deserve to win, any of them.

There's an advantage to not getting Traitors out until the end. Otherwise they recruit and you're back to square one, with nothing to go on.

It's not really a team game.

Rentin · 30/10/2025 08:11

I think because Cat has pushed “big dog” every night she kind of had no choice. To be fair to her she did pick Stephen as long as possible but I think she was wrong to only vote based on that. Everyone at the table changed their mind daily and she could have followed another thread so she wouldn’t end up in the position of having to vote Jonathan out.

Holluschickie · 30/10/2025 08:14

marshmallowmix · 30/10/2025 08:05

She did sell out I agree, she didn’t try and stay faithful to the Traitors.

She raised Jonathan’s name last night before the vote and if she hadn’t he may have stayed…they were supposed to club together to the end.

Alan did the murder in plain sight already she should’ve done it he’s at risk doing it …

She’s added the least in terms of any entertainment not a fan at all.

Every Traitor from S 1 onwards in every version has done this and most far earlier. Some even after two days!

xsquared · 30/10/2025 08:17

itsraining2024 · 30/10/2025 07:59

Cat will betray Alan. She didn’t deflect from people accusing Jonathan all these weeks. I know it’s a game but felt like she sold out.

That is the point of her role.

JoeMarlerseyes · 30/10/2025 08:20

i would like Joe,nick and celia to win.
Cat is good, but plays on being the 'young one". it would have been fairer if she had done this murder.
I think Alan comes across more of a bully than joe. he is quite nasty some of the time.
Joe was right about the big dogs.
David is a bit boring.

True.. But not at this stage. And I think the only one actually following this strategy is Nick. The others simply had no clue.

I’ve no issue at all with her turning on a fellow-traitor (it’s the nature of the game, isn’t it?), but I agree she’s been by far the least entertaining booking from the POV of being good TV.

A show doesn’t need too many big personalities for it to be a success .
I actually liked the combination of Jonathan , Cat and Alan as the traitors .
I think it worked brilliantly
I liked all three traitors

Ratafia · 30/10/2025 08:29

Choux · 29/10/2025 22:07

The murder needs to be hidden by being followed by a series of other toasts to players. “And a toast to you dear Celia our Queen of the faithful”. “Nick here’s to you eating dinner straight after a lasagne”. “Joe, you can sleep easy tonight with your shield. Cheers to you” etc etc

Exactly. In fact, they could address the quote to someone else before saying the name of the victim, e.g. "Goodnight, Celia, parting is such sweet sorrow. David, do you fancy a nightcap?"

AuntyAngela · 30/10/2025 08:29

I think once Jonathan started naming Alan in an attempt to keep himself, Cat knew it was time they shipped protecting him.

I do love traitors who work as a team, but love it more when one or two of them on a deceitful/smug one.

marshmallowmix · 30/10/2025 08:34

She’s not a team player, she didn’t need to turn on a fellow traitor at that point.

She was already aligned with aggressive 😆Joe who had Jonathan in his sights. Joe said to her last week after the previous vote off I need you onside…basically to push for Jonathan to be voted out and she went along with it.

Yep, she has been by far the least entertaining.

Jonathan’s departure was brilliant and very well done !

Ratafia · 30/10/2025 08:34

MrsScrubbingbrush · 29/10/2025 22:21

If they spent time watching people’s reactions when they are named at the round table they may have more clues as to who are the traitors. JR really looked shocked at that point.

I wondered if anyone clocked Alan's reaction at the point when Jonathan was saying he was faithful - he was clearly laughing and not hiding the fact that he knew exactly what was going on.

Maggiethecat · 30/10/2025 08:35

EleanorReally · 30/10/2025 07:01

i do hope he doesnt toast Celia, she deserves to go far

Sadly I think he will. The toast quote would seem most fittingly directed at her, a classically trained actress and she seems to have ruffled Alan during that convo where she was suspicious of him.

CaveMum · 30/10/2025 08:37

Just remember, when interpreting people’s facial expressions, that we’re watching an edited show and don’t know if x person smiled at that exact point or if it’s just been dropped in for our benefit.

Holluschickie · 30/10/2025 08:37

Traitors are not supposed to be team players! Every Traitor who has tried that has been banished!

Gingercar · 30/10/2025 08:39

Cadenza12 · 30/10/2025 07:07

I thought that last night seemed a bit staged. Suddenly Cat voted for JR. No one suspects her yet she's hardly ever voiced an opinion.

I don’t think it was a sudden change. Her and Alan had discussed voting for JR if need be a couple of weeks ago. And she made it plain in the car today that she couldn’t team up against Joe because it would throw suspicion on her. She’s always seemed “part of the gang” with the big discussions about who are traitors during the day, she doesn’t want to lose that.

I don’t understand why people are saying Ruth hasn’t done much then saying they hope Celia stays. She hasn’t done much either imo. I don’t get why people are so loved up with her. I don’t dislike any of them, but some people have tried harder.

Whereas I think Cat is the magnolia wallpaper of the show so far. Literally the only interesting thing she’s done is turning on Jonathan. David was the same until he woke up.

CarefulN0w · 30/10/2025 08:39

Cat isn’t playing for team traits. She is playing for her charity (and her career).

I know opinions are split on JR but his grand, flamboyant exit speech was very him-out in a blaze of attention and glory

CarefulN0w · 30/10/2025 08:43

That should have said Team Traitors, obviously, but for some reason my post was whited out and I couldn’t edit it.

I am feeling a bit disappointed with Cat though, I had hoped she would be a Minah; mischievous and clever. As it turns out, she’s nice but dim.

JR is a good sport. He said on TU that Cat should win. Holds no grudges.
Meanwhile Paloma still moaning on about Alan murdering her.

I've never liked Paloma and like her even less now. It's a game for goodness sake.

Why dim? The way she has played this game has been very clever.

I don't think Cat is dim. She's very calm under pressure. I would have yelped
when Stephen Fry turned on me.
She's realised if she is quiet, Alan will have all eyes on him.

TrickySparkles · 30/10/2025 08:57

I thought Alan was being clever at the round table. Once Cat declared she was voting Jonathon he knew he’d have no choice but to follow suit and he’d been told there was chat about him and Jonathan being traitors together earlier in the day (after the “do you think traitors are turning on each other” question)logically he’d be a suspect if Jonathan was exposed as a traitor. So he made the most of the end of the round table to cast shade of Joe and suggest him and Jonathan were in it together as traitors. it Was a bit fumbled as he thinking on feet but I did feel it was a smart move.

I think this murder in plain sight is going to be so difficult! Any other wuote they might get away with it but “parting is such sweet sorrow” is so memorable when they turn up murdered! Stephen Fru is the only one who might have got away with it. Will be interesting to see how Alan does.

CarefulN0w · 30/10/2025 08:58

I don’t think she has been clever though. She has just stayed quiet and under the radar. And while you can excuse some of her lack of general knowledge on being young, she seems remarkably incurious.
