JR gives me narcissist vibes but he’s quite attractive.

I agree that Alan gets bitchy and Mean Girls quite easily, but he’s the most entertaining by far. He’s witty and has a way with words.

I don’t really want Joe to win. He’s too aggressive.

None of the others are particularly entertaining.

Rentin · 29/10/2025 23:31

I feel a bit sorry for Cat. People always feel a lot more personally betrayed by finding out the women are traitors.

I don’t find Joe at all aggressive. He seems quite straightforward to me, but I know a lot of pro rugby players, and they’re pretty straightforward types. He seems fairly typical. Not going to win prizes for subtlety, but his career involved being large and putting his body on the line. No subtlety needed.

Yes, Alan is much the most entertaining (though I’m kind of enjoying the Joe-Nick alliance, and enjoyed the two Joes), but he is also genuinely bitchy, which grates after a while. Kate has been poor TV, as she acknowledges herself, apart from some very nice blowdries. Cat is dull. Celia is doing Impish Grande Dame. David sounds intelligent and has excellent hair, but in fact is consistently, thoughtfully wrong. I will miss JR’s outfits.

I wouldn’t even think of it as a Shakespeare quote, it’s well known enough as a saying in its own right.

It is only a saying at all because Shakespeare wrote it. It's one of the most famous lines from one of his most famous plays.

Gingercar · 29/10/2025 23:45

I think Cat probably deserves to win. She’s played well.

Hungrycaterpillarsmummy · 29/10/2025 23:45

Delatron · 29/10/2025 22:16

I feel like the producers are setting it up for Cat to win. By forcing Alan to do another murder in plain sight (well setting the task so only he could do it).

I agree. I can't stand cat.

FightingFish · 29/10/2025 23:49

I really like the Cat, Alan partnership and I don’t think I would support either of them as a singleton. They are such different personalities that they make a great team. I will be gutted if either of them vote for one another.

Gingercar · 29/10/2025 23:51

are there only two more episodes left now? So only one more round table?

Pinkbox · 29/10/2025 23:52

Really enjoyed hearing Jonathan ‘superfan’s thoughts on Uncloaked.
I think he was being modest about the Big Dog thing though, as given the starting list, many people would have picked him and Stephen as the biggest (most well known across the board) signings.

ShowDownTime · 29/10/2025 23:59

If Alan was smart he would make Cat do the murder. She’s shown she’ll betray him as soon as she has to. He doesn’t owe her anything and doing it himself - again - is risky.

Also, they are the oldest, apart from Celia cos obvs, women don't count! Wink

I quite like his self-awareness re the patriarchy too. I like Cat but agree she hasn't been the best value sleb for entertainment.

I’m probably barking up the wrong tree here but there’s something niggling me about Celia. We’ve now seen her ask the 3 traitors directly if they’re traitors, Alan mentioned she always winks when she puts someone’s name forward, and in the very first episode her portrait winked. She also immediately declared herself as the most two-faced in one of the missions. I keep wondering if there’s a surprise element involving her somewhere along the line… I’ve probably been watching too much Hetty Wainthropp 😁

I’d love this to be true but I don’t think so.

Tofufuton · 30/10/2025 00:38

Grr, producers can't help themselves and always have to interfere near the end! What a silly mission, it really puts the traitors on the back foot when they were already losing ground with fewer overall players. Also, we've already had a murder in plain sight. This is all very convoluted and seems designed purely to get Alan out and Cat through.

Wossy was very good, I thought. Played the game in the spirit it was intended and left on a high.

ilovesooty · 30/10/2025 01:07

Minto111 · 29/10/2025 22:16

She could do it. Her being young is not an excuse.

Yes but it's from a Shakespeare play. She didn't even recognise the names of some of Britain's greatest actors earlier.

MrsBennetsPoorNervesAreBack · 30/10/2025 01:17

I will be gutted if they murder Celia, I love her! I love Nick too.

They can take any of the others!

WhisperingAngelisnotbad · 30/10/2025 03:38

TakeMeToAnIgloo · 29/10/2025 22:54

No I've been wondering about something like that too, because of the original winking portrait. I haven't noticed her winking other times though, as I mostly am listening rather than watching closely as I am always doing other things at the same time it seems.

But I think a twist is certainly possible.

Isn't there a game called wink murder? Might she not be alluding to that?

Holluschickie · 30/10/2025 05:34

I do think two murders in plain sight is too much. Unfair.

AuntyAngela · 30/10/2025 05:57

dapsnotplimsolls · 29/10/2025 22:43

Can you imagine the look on Nick's face if he and Kate are the last two and she steals the money??

Kate can't steal from Nick,, unless she becomes a last minute recruited traitor. Where there's only Faithful at the end, they share the prize money. She might go though as there's a bit of suspicion on her.

What's with all the chat with the "big dog" theory being nonsense? Theories are all the Faithful have to gone on in this game. That theory was that either Jonathan Ross or Stephen Fry was Traitor and the other left to be the leader of the Faithful.

Turned out to be a decent theory considering Jonathan was a Traitor and Stephen was seen as leader by the Faithful. Also, sounds like from Jonathan's bit of damage control for his image on Uncloaked he thought he was seen as leader of the Traitors.

Is it Jonathan fans or Joe haters that feel it was a ridiculous theory?

AuntyAngela · 30/10/2025 06:12

Holluschickie · 30/10/2025 05:34

I do think two murders in plain sight is too much. Unfair.

It might have been more interesting earlier on, rather than having the murder in plain sight booked all the murders.

The Traitors have every advantage in the game, that being the concept behind it. So a few tasks which make it difficult for just them isn't a bad thing.

Though i like seeing Traitors caught- well the smug ones i do. I like both Alan and Cat as Traitors, so would like them to get away with it, but hink Alan's toast regardless.

applesandpinkoranges · 30/10/2025 06:53

C8H10N4O2 · 29/10/2025 23:01

But then he would have to recruit wouldn’t he? And as Minah pointed out on Uncloaked, recruitment is really dangerous because the new recruits never trust the existing traitors.

If Cat/Alan want to through the other under a bus then waiting until the numbers are low enough that they don’t have to recruit would make more sense.

There wont be a recruitment now, it’s too late.

Holluschickie · 30/10/2025 06:59

I could be wrong, but I think this is the first series to not have recruitment.
Thanks to how useless the Faithful are. They really do not deserve to win, any of them.

EleanorReally · 30/10/2025 07:01

i do hope he doesnt toast Celia, she deserves to go far

Lampzade · 30/10/2025 07:06

I must say that I love this series . I haven’t watched any of the previous Traitor series so wasn’t sure what to expect
I think that all the traitors were brilliant
I don’t get some of the discourse about Cat not doing the in plain sight murder , some are implying that she is effectively throwing Alan under the bus
The truth is that if she used the phrase others would notice . Don’t forget , Cat doesn’t even know who Judi Dench is and she is not flamboyant like Alan
She played the game like she was supposed to . It seems that women are judged more harshly on this show ..
The programme is called Traitors for a reason,

Cadenza12 · 30/10/2025 07:07

I thought that last night seemed a bit staged. Suddenly Cat voted for JR. No one suspects her yet she's hardly ever voiced an opinion.

Moonlightdust · 30/10/2025 07:08

AuntyAngela · 29/10/2025 21:53

Why? She has to stick with it so she doesn't change her tune.(plus it'll get Jonathan out)

Yes it was quite clever that she jumped on that theory when it first came about quite early on, throwing Jonathan’s name out there. The fact she’s still holding on to it sounds very convincing and authentic and people will be unlikely to guess she aimed suspicion at a fellow Traitor so early on! She’s playing it well!
