Can you imagine the look on Nick's face if he and Kate are the last two and she steals the money??

Appalonia · 29/10/2025 22:43

CeliaFarts · 29/10/2025 22:42

Has anyone actually seen Kate on anything since filming stopped? She might still be in the castle waiting for production to say the show has finished.

She's on GMB every day! And been talking about the show a lot.

And notably respectful of the skills and accomplishments of the other players. Why wouldn’t they be considered “Big Dogs” in their own right? The way everyone decided Jonathan or Stephan had to be a traitor because they were th two most important was genuinely odd.

It was Joe’s great idea and he kept promoting it - I was surprised how many seemed to buy into it but possibly they were just nodding and smiling a lot of the time.

Choux · 29/10/2025 22:45

HillOf · 29/10/2025 22:26

Why? He was just manipulating things till the last possible moment.

Lucy is much sharper and funnier on Uncloaked than she was in the game,

Because she has more time to prepare what she is going to say and the show gets rehearsed.

PeonyPatch · 29/10/2025 22:49

I want Alan to win because other than Jonathan, I think he’s been the most entertaining to watch and I think he’s made a cracking traitor!

I doubt he will though as I think people are now onto him and Cat is likely to dob him in.

hanahsaunt · 29/10/2025 22:51

Pmk

WirralCyrille · 29/10/2025 22:52

I’m probably barking up the wrong tree here but there’s something niggling me about Celia. We’ve now seen her ask the 3 traitors directly if they’re traitors, Alan mentioned she always winks when she puts someone’s name forward, and in the very first episode her portrait winked. She also immediately declared herself as the most two-faced in one of the missions. I keep wondering if there’s a surprise element involving her somewhere along the line… I’ve probably been watching too much Hetty Wainthropp 😁

Sadly no podcast to my knowledge. I just listen out for his announcements.

Or the shipping news. That's quite soporific in itself!

I really hope Cat or Joe don't win now because I've gone off them.
Not keen for Kate or David either at this point as they don't seem to add much.
Don't mind Alan winning as he has played well despite his initial misgivings.
Celia - fine, and Nick for the win either alone or with Celia.

Sadly I suspect it will be people like kate or Joe or Cat who win.

No I've been wondering about something like that too, because of the original winking portrait. I haven't noticed her winking other times though, as I mostly am listening rather than watching closely as I am always doing other things at the same time it seems.

But I think a twist is certainly possible.

HillOf · 29/10/2025 22:54

Delatron · 29/10/2025 22:31

Yeah but it really would look suspicious from her. Alan could maybe get away with it.

So what, though, from Alan’s POV? He could say ‘I’ve already done a murder in plain sight — this one’s on you.’ And watch her flounder.

Bichette · 29/10/2025 22:55

They have surely clocked now that traitors have voted against traitors so they need to look at who voted FOR Jonathan not against him.

Empress13 · 29/10/2025 22:56

Choux · 29/10/2025 22:39

He used to have his own talk show. Not sure why it ended l

Oh yes with every drink in his globe known to man! I really hope he wins it he’s played a blinder. As for the big guns I’m guessing probably Stephen and Jonathan were the highest paid on the show

I read somewhere they were all paid £40k

But then he would have to recruit wouldn’t he? And as Minah pointed out on Uncloaked, recruitment is really dangerous because the new recruits never trust the existing traitors.

If Cat/Alan want to through the other under a bus then waiting until the numbers are low enough that they don’t have to recruit would make more sense.

Ooo good potential spot

Yes, all standard rate, apparently. Which makes the oohing and ahing about adding another five grand to the prize pot mildly amusing.

Clafoutie · 29/10/2025 23:05

Alan’s Round Table reactions were such a give away tonight, yet he gets away with it ( love it!)

Choux · 29/10/2025 22:37

Like everyone you have forgotten Kate 😂

😂

EdithBond · 29/10/2025 23:10

Can’t believe I’m saying this as went right off him due to Sachsgate.

But I swooned at Jonathan on Uncloaked this eve. Partly due to his jacket and boots. But also because he said he wasn’t the lead traitor in the tower but like most men he tends to dominate. Refreshing patriarchal awareness.

Appalonia · 29/10/2025 23:15

JR Haa always been a snappy dresser. He's also one of the few celebs who supported Graham Linehan, tweeted in support of Maya Forstater and contributed financially to crowdfunders for women taking their employers to court in the last few years. I know the Sachsgate thing was dreadful, but he's redeemed himself in my eyes.

Yes, I did enjoy Jonathan saying that.

Neil Nunes reading The Shipping Forecast at bedtime is ideal.

Yes, but those are tiny sums to them.

Hungrycaterpillarsmummy · 29/10/2025 23:25

I'm glad they are on to Alan now
People say Joe is a bit mean but Alan is vindictive. Joe is clearly just playing the game/having some jest in what he's doing and saying. Alan turns aggressive and mean girl-y when any focus is ok him.

Anyway, hope Celia manages to rally the faithfuls to get Alan now.

I think the dinner party toast murder is a load of crap

Rentin · 29/10/2025 23:27

WestwardHo1 · 29/10/2025 22:03

Oh this is totally possible.

They need to allude to the Shakespearean question in the first episode. Talk about Shakespeare. Move on to Romeo and Juliet quotes. Then say I'm tired and going to bed. YAAAAAWN. "Goodnight, sweet goodnight. Parting is such sweet sorrow"

Or something

This is what I was thinking too. I think they’d be best off sitting down for a chat together and being like:

”So which of the challenges has been your favourite?”
Then chat and get onto Shakespeare
”oh I don’t know anything about Shakespeare”
”Oh come on yes you do.” - Then start reciting famous quotes. Just as someone walks past (to bed or for a drink etc) time it to be saying the target quote then raise a glass and be like eg “Nick? Well done today. Here’s to more traitors tomorrow!” Then right back to jolly chatting away.

Something like that. I think the two of them engineering a loud/upbeat chat would work a lot better than Alan trying to initiate an actual toast to a group unprompted.

I can’t see anyone saying “you and Alan were chatting away about Shakespeare last night weren’t you? Maybe you’re both traitors!” but I can see someone saying “wasn’t that speech Alan made to us all a bit odd…”

Sadly the fact they can’t really plan it really is not ideal!
