Anyone watching?
I can't decide if I want to watch this year or not.

OP posts:
ScoobyDoo · 11/06/2008 20:46

I don't really know who will go but i think it will be Mario or Steph.

Raahh · 11/06/2008 20:46

i suppose Steph deserves a chance (grudging emoticon), she is only a kid- Mario/Shaun whatever, is old and ugly enough to look after himself....

DirtySexyMummy · 11/06/2008 20:46

And... back to the thread

I like Luke and hope he stays, The other 3, I don't really like any of them, nor particularly dislike any. I would probably choose Steph to go.

Flier · 11/06/2008 20:49

I do hope Steph goes, although it must have been pretty hard for her to pretend she was attracted to a man old enough to be her father........

ALMummy · 11/06/2008 20:51

Mario will go first I hope, although that probably means Michael will have to leave too, so firmly has Mario attached himself to him and his disability. I am sure that Mario thought he would ride Mikey and his "disability" right out the door and into the £100,000 prize. Twat.

Bobbiewickham · 11/06/2008 20:54

DSM - how do you know I don't have any phobias?

I do actually, and I am no stranger to counselling either.

However, I would hope that I am big enough to accept, when I may have done or said something thoughtless and offensive, to admit as much and apologise to those I may have offended, without waving four years of therapy and a phobia in their face by way of justification.

Flier · 11/06/2008 20:56

bobbiewickham can you take this argument elsewhere? Its getting boring now, and this thread is no longer the place for it.

Bobbiewickham · 11/06/2008 20:59

Sorry to be boring.

Will leave you to it.

Enjoy.

Raahh · 11/06/2008 20:59

i think mikey may stick around, alex is prob next to go, as i think she is liable to cause even more aggro over the next week...i mean if you can get that irrate over chips, god help us if she doesn't get the hair straightener token! Remember how Chanelle went on last year about the kink in her hair.....

DirtySexyMummy · 11/06/2008 21:00

Bobbie - read my posts properly for goodness sake. You know I have already apologised for being flippant.

And you should, had you read properly, also know that I never tries to justify, I explained. Please note the difference.

Flier · 11/06/2008 21:00

do you think BB will put Alex in the BB prison? Might be quite funny.

Raahh · 11/06/2008 21:01

(in RL i claim to have no interest in this programme, by the way!)

PortBlacksandResident · 11/06/2008 21:01

If i had a child with a certain outstanding ailment / disability / appearance and someone said they were phobic to it i'm afraid i'd react exactly the same as BW to be honest.

Agree it's probably a subject for a different thread though.

DirtySexyMummy · 11/06/2008 21:01

God I hope Alex goes next week!

lazarou · 11/06/2008 21:01

I think Alex may be removed before she gets evicted

Thomcat · 11/06/2008 21:06

Oh dear. Just caught up with the argument on here.
DSM and BW I think you BOTH need to step away, it's too close and personal for you both. One is defending her own phobia, the other her son. It would hurt be massively if someone said they had a phobia about children with Down's syndrome and I would never be able to see past the pain of that no matter what so I say this in the nicest possible way, BW it really is best that you don't do this to yourself anymore.

Thomcat · 11/06/2008 21:09

Right - BB9 - Felt sick watching Alex last night. She's awful. So aggresive. She needs to go and sort out her personal shit big time.

DirtySexyMummy · 11/06/2008 21:09

Thanks TC.

I know how horrible it is, like I said earlier I met a man who was phobic of my sister. Thankfully, he is not now, and we actually kept in touch.

I shall leave it anyway, I did try to empathise and understand it would be very difficult for someone to understand

Thomcat · 11/06/2008 21:18

Babe I feel for you big time it must be awful. And the agraphobia one as well. We'll have a chat about them one day if you like, on another thread.

At the same time I totally understand BW and her reaction. I'd be the same, I wouldn't not be able to. So protective of my DD as BW must be of ehr son. When you get stared at in the street and know people are whispering about your DS/DD mainly due to their appearence (or all down to their appearance with BW's DS) you become incredibly defensive. So lets please just allow her to feel that way, it's so her right.

Anyway, I've said enough.

BIG BROTHER...................

DirtySexyMummy · 11/06/2008 21:21

Thanks TC, I really do understand, as I have had this all with my sister all her life. I know what it is like. And I really tried to make sure she knew I understood, and I did apologise for being flippant.

Anyway, thanks again

I will definitely leave this thread for BB chat only now

Raahh · 11/06/2008 21:22

i will prob be asleep before tonights prog comes on..

"Can't believe an albino thinks he is black.

And noone can pronounce Darnell. grin"

sorry I really am gobsmacked.

And your claim to be phobic about albinism following Bobbie's post pulling you up about your comments has been utterly, UTTERLY unconvincing. Have the good grace to just apologise for being so offensive without pulling every trick in the book to absolve yourself of responsibility for it.

DirtySexyMummy · 11/06/2008 21:42

Umbrealla - I have already explained on this thread that BB did not mention that Darnell was black when that comment was made.

I did explain that earlier. Please read all the posts before bringing it up again.

I will not get into it on this thread again. Its getting ridiculous.

umberella · 11/06/2008 21:47

Sorry, not looking for a fight, I was really just appalled by your comments and also your failure to just take responsibility for your ignorance or offensiveness.

Signing off now.

pastapestofor6 · 11/06/2008 21:57

being agoraphobic is a fear...granted
being 'afraid 'of someone because of they way they look, and in this instance the colour of their skin is BIGOTRY
pure and simple
i dont care how you dress it up and how many 'psychiatrists' you consult, in my opinion your 'phobia' is downright predjudice
I dont care who has what to say who tells me to shut up, whatever
DSM you are WRONG
if you said you have a fear of indian people because you once knew a crazy indian boy im sure everyone would be up in arms about it,
you cannot just make statements like that and then glide your way out of it on the back of a very, in my opinion, slippery argument about phobias
you are not phobic, you are prejudiced
