Unpopular opinion, but I don't like Ash. I'm in South Wales and he reminds me of someone that I was in school with maybe? He is typical rugby bloke and I think he is sexist. I prefer Grace of the 2 of them. She is honest with him and he can't cope with her using logic and having actual real memories of stuff that's happened (which he then agrees that that is what happened).

They are mental. Once had one break into the kitchen of a place I worked in the states and he'd undone the peanut butter jars and eaten loads.... scoundrel. They humane trapped him and set him free :) He was a teenager and suprisingly big.

Just caught up by speed watching the episode and speed reading the thread.
I went to London to see DD for the day so was on a late train back.

Things I hated- most of the rest of the episode. Especially the constant use of the word 'muggy'!

I love Grace, he is giving her mixed messages and she is telling him he's doing that. He doesn't understand that even when they were doing the love/hate on the couch and he said to her about laughing stuff off but to bring things up in the moment. She really would look crazy following that advice from him.

I'm re-watching last nights quickly. I missed so much of it reading and watching.
Looking forward to Crystal having it out with JR, Leah will have her back.

@chaosmaker S Wales too. He's lovely and charming but I wouldn't put up with his shit either. I think his kind of sexist behavior is regularly overlooked, as though it’s more tolerable than others because it's said with a smile. He's not a bad bloke but his views run deep.

I'm with you on this. I think she is right with what she says about his snap judgements, you can see he thinks she causes all of the issues, rather than consider if she had casually called him a dick if he might also have felt that was unjust.

It's a very good thing so many women don't see it so that they can put up with it though. His attitude wouldn't fly with me. I genuinely think Grace is disappointed he has gone through the motions of understanding and respecting her, yet clearly hasn't actually internalised any of it. Any guy who baseline argues "it's just bantz" is a bellend in my opinion. She looked genuinely worried when he flounced yesterday. He doesn't like to talk things through when called out. We saw that he said it and tried to gaslight her that he didn't and then that she laughed "with him" about it, which we saw she didn't but didn't make a huge fuss. If she had she would be back at sq 1 with him as they were at the start, so she has grown, he has not.

Grace is really attractive. If Ashley and Grace can reach a balance, they could be happy long-term.
