She was so fucking wet in the films! Book Ginny was ballsy, held her own and took no shit. When Ron had a go at her for going out with one of the other lads she went batshit at him, and rightly so! You just know he was going to call her a slag!

I agree, Penny had more chemistry with Sheldon, although Amy had good chemistry with him also.

I was rooting for Ron and Hermione as a child, and (more so) for Harry and Ginny, so can’t agree with you all there!

Ron was moody, but I would be to if Death Eaters were trying to murder me etc. He seemed very realistic to me.

What I loved about that was that they kept it on the downlow. They were both single when they got together so no issues I just got the impression they are both quite private people.

But Daniel Roche who played Ben let the cat out of the bag in an interview, which is such a Ben thing to do! Apparently they didnt mind.

Oh I love Alison and Mike, I thought they were a really good couple.

Hasnt JK since said that she thinks she got Ron and Hermione wrong? I wonder if they did a bit of a "Catherine/William" in that they split up for a while and then got back together after Ron had wised up and grown up a bit.

And that with hindsight perhaps Neville and Luna would have been better as they were in the films than what she said happened, which had been released before the final film (she married Newt Scamanders great grandson and he married Hannah Abbot who worked at Hogwarts as the matron after Poppy Pomfrey retired)

There are worse ways to be in a marriage! Mates first lovers second. A lot of marriages dont manage either!

Apparently the writers wanted to do that as well, but Hank Azaria couldn’t commit to the filming schedule.

I often re read the books and I think he was the classic first boyfriend. She wasnt interested in the loud mouth types, so she went for the quiet bookish type. Jack Cavendish was a total arse, no idea what she saw in him!

I found the fact that they gravitated back to each other at times of stress or trial was interesting. And how she put up with him at Oxford....again very questionable!

But I do like the fact that the final book leaves it open that they may actually get back together in its ending.
