Zoe listening to the lager pump was strange today ! I thought that maybe the cat had gone missing again.
At least she got it going just in time to serve those men.
Nice to see Chelsea too today.

Nicolas bar is another one that runs itself isn’t it. Along with all the places they have.

Phil has enough riches to own a washing machine. Dot had a washing machine or a tumble dryer under the stairs. I recall Reiss washing Bianca's clothes.

It annoys me that you rarely see any washing hanging around yet these houses have multiple occupants!

Yes Cindy won't know about Jasmine yet, she had just got off the tube.

Why was Nicola talking to Harry as if it’s perfectly normal and right for Teddy to go to jail in his place? I suppose it is on EastEnders though…

The Knights feel like they are going round in a holding pattern with Kojo/Ghana/thugs. At least Junior has finally gone. I thought Anna was supposed to be in Australia by now.

Poor Harry. Although I have to say I am getting sick of the sight of him now. Like Zoe, he’s barely off screen although a much better actor so that’s in his favour.

Shelling, Teddy’s dad once gave him a compass ( for his ‘ moral compass’ no doubt ) so (of course 🙄) you take the blame for murder ( no less ) when they should have come up with a different cunning ‘plan b ‘ instead. Nicola has managed to get away with murder before ( although what actually happened with Shireen is still a tad mysterious but I’ve no doubt she did kill her ) and she even tried to dig her up once :(
Yet Jumpers can do this for ‘ his boy ‘ and it’s all seen as fairly normal behavior. Similar thing happened with kherrat too. Soaps eh? Lol
They either really get away with it ( like Ken ) or people step up to have their freedom taken away from them.
Rather him than me though tbf! I couldn’t do it.

A well as Sharon barely being in it this year ( I know it’s because of personal reasons) Ian is another one who is barely seen and hasn’t had a story of his own this year at all ( not since Martin died ) and just sits in the pub for the quizzes that become abandoned mid question.
Maybe now Cindy is back from Devon, they may hiss at each other in the pub, but mostly he is a bit part now isn’t he!

Barney is the only one of them with a moral compass and now he has the watch too!

You're right, Ian hasn't been around that much. The focus has been so tightly on the Slaters and the drugs there hasn't been room for much else. At least Chelsea got a few lines today!

I like Chelsea a lot. She puts Jordon in the kiddie cupboards ( no idea how old he is now ?) and always looks fab. I hope we see more of her.

Yes Pat definitely died. She had pancreatic cancer and we saw her deathbed scene.

Linda does sometimes wear Pat type earrings.

Maybe someone who was connected to pat? 🫤 it would only be David and Simon surely. Frank's long gone

Maybe a story about young pat? She was a prostitute wasnt she, for a bit, maybe revisiting a kid that she had put up for adoption who delves into her past

All these ideas sound terrible 😄 but wouldnt put it past them

Plus it would be a way to continue her legacy

Simon ( or was it David) came back to lay flowers for his mum.
Maybe they do have a half sister or brother somewhere , a bit like Teddy was with the Mitchells / Stevie / Billy etc.

Soaps love a ‘ long lost ‘ ! Maybe Jasmine is a distant Pat relative or it’ll be a newbie of some kind.

They've just wasted Teddy with a 15 year jail sentence, doesn't bode well for other long-losts!

David was back for a week last autumn but I'd be surprised if he agreed to return longer term. Simon was last seen in 2012 laying flowers. Nick Berry is now described as 'retired'.

Hmm did pat commit any crimes maybe?

Or she is investivating a cold case - could explain her mysterious conversation

Could be a true crime thing, maybe pat was friends with a prozzie who was killed 🤔

Or maybe jasmine is a gran/great granddaughter of a kid she put up for adoption (still stuck on that idea)

I think there will definitely be a lot of raking over pat's life, whatever it is. I love pat so hope its done well

Pat doesn’t have any connections to current characters, but I still think the earrings are to do with her. Could she be the mum of someone (Nicola?) and she’ll appear again as a ghost?

Nicola is pregnant now, isnt she? Havent watched this weeks

Not sure how much we know about her life, so maybe pat was her mum? Maybe she was adopted 😬

So it would tie in with her pregnancy journey, discovering her mum

David and Cindy had a child once .. ( nah , she can’t have had seven children and look that good lol)
Pat is coming back as a ghost with her fashion sense for earrings , Zoe and Kat find an earring in the barrel store next week with more stalker goings on, so might be a clue there too.

Oh yes, David came back and had that conversation with Cindy in the long lost pie shop about Ian and it was recorded by Freddie and Anna because they once liked bird watching and recording , but they don’t bother anymore with that.

Gosh , if Pat is Nicola’s ( long lost ) muvver , that means she is then vaguely related to a few people who were once around the square ( head spinning with that one !) A relative of the late Steven ( one of Cindy’s) David and Simon’s half sister. Goodness me !..

@the80sweregreat Atr you sure Cindy and David had a child together as I don’t remember that.
