Ive just watched this documentary and can’t stop thinking about it.
Basically about a neighbourhood where kids are being kids and one neighbour takes huge exception to them and how it escalates.

A very interesting, very sad story which was well made. At times we probably saw a little too much but it was filmed and made entirely using police body cam and cctv.

At one point I was bawling my eyes out in one particular scene.

Although a harrowing watch it’s a good documentary.

So all the black kids have to kowtow to the angry white bitch? Ok then 🙄

I think this covers the interesting grey area between belief in society and mental health. I personally think she showed multiple signs of mental confusion, maybe hormonal imbalances, particularly when she said she was Dr and rammed the gate with the truck and again when she seemed to change personality so suddenly several times.

I think the police should be trained to see when someone is mentally unstable but not an immediate threat and be able to flag to their GP or some social services that this person should be on their radar.

Obviously those services then need funding to do some community outreach style programmes which may or may not make a difference, but this felt like it could have been prevented if they hadn't been so "psycho!" in a dismissive way about her. They needed to see she was ringing them because for her the issue was escalating, through provocation or simply in her own mind, and that in itself was a form of requesting attention/help. I think if you had all of the racist idiots in the world on an estate like that and gave them a dose of menopause and possible MH issues, more than 1 in 20 would have done something physical too. Perfect storm.

Totally, 100% agree.
The woman was a racist cunt, who should have been charged with murder.
That poor family, outrageous they have been put through this.
I understand people found it hard to see the rawness of grief, but it's the least we can do for those children, to bear some form of witness for them.

Why the fuck didn't she just move if it bothered her that much? She was renting and said she worked from home, she could have moved somewhere quieter. Everyone else was happy with the neighbourhood and the children playing out.
I don't think any of the others saw a shooting coming. They probably just thought she'd keep having a shouty and phoning the police.

As a side note, she was only 58 when the footage was filmed. Fucking hell she looked like shit. I thought she was twenty years older.

If not for the crazy US gun laws so that any nutcase can own a gun none of this would have happened.

Yup, it’s the same old story. And it’s absolute madness.
