Yes I think we need to remember there is Alan and the Alan the act.

Think she might be playing under the radar, being one of the herd faithfuls as a way to survive the early rounds.

I agree. Lots of posters saying Lucy does nothing which as it appears is true. She will probably get her moment later on, where she suddenly becomes vocal and a ninja traitor hunter.

SaratogaFilly · 17/10/2025 22:41

That’s true @Hungrycaterpillarsmummy but I still
think that under direct pressure with everyone looking at him, he’ll be sweating buckets & not be able to hold it together!

Yes, I agree.

The problem is that I don't think anybody would actually listen to Lucy.

I think he’ll surprise us. He’s deflected a couple of little questions without much trouble. And he brought up throwing JR under the bus with Cat. He’s more on the ball than people think.
As for Celia becoming a traitor. I don’t think she’d work. She seems to just be coasting along in her own way and doesn’t look like she’d be a team player. I don’t get the adoration for her. So she farted!

I don't think he will. He's a lot more clever than his act

He's very quick on his feet. Makes Fry seem like a doddering dunderhead in comparison.

That’s the problem Joe Marler has as well, although he does at least have a buddy in the other Joe.

I do wonder how it would have worked with Stephen Fry as a Traitor (perhaps as a 4th traitor). Wonder if Alan would have found a way to get around the rules and murder him.

Tofufuton · 17/10/2025 23:41

They'd have been smart to put Lucy up for murder because she's unlikely to be banished.

Thanks for the new thread.

Reposting the link to the latest TRIE for those that missed it on the last thread.

xsquared · 17/10/2025 23:54

Cat suggesting they murder from someone not from her group was a smart move to make her look more like a faithful.

Jonathan giving his freely to Stephen Fry could be interpreted either way, especially if Joe M remembers JR fake worrying about being murdered when he had a shield in am earlier episode.

Thanks for the new thread @CarefulN0w

I caught up with Uncloaked last night. I wondered why Clare wasn't on the main show, just the bit after she left the castle? I would have liked to hear more from her.

Rooting for the Joes now.

dayswithaY · 18/10/2025 08:52

Stephen is playing a good game, flustered and confused by what’s going on, I really have no clue who’s a Traitor blah blah.

His voice is softer and his body language is totally different to when you see him being interviewed on chat shows when he appears authoritive and quite pleased with himself. He is trying to disarm people with his befuddled elderly man routine before switching it up at the end when he will then become ruthless. Ditto Nick who is also incredibly intuitive and switched on but he’s staying under the radar while he works it all out. They should team up.

Jonathan’s massive ego will be his downfall as he’s made the classic Traitor mistake of getting too comfortable in the role, the only reason he hasn’t been outed is due to celebrity hierarchy whereby people are nervous of calling him out (look what happened to Clare and Ruth). He has a flashing red sign over his head saying “I’m a Traitor!”

People are still holding back due to their public image but we are starting to move past that.

SF, Nick and the two Joes are working it out. Mark is way too emotional, David is lost in a sea of egos, Celia is having fun, the rest have no clue.

Once you get down to the last night (maybe 5 contestants), they vote someone out but they don’t find out whether they are a traitor or not.
And then the remaining people vote for whether they want to keep going and vote someone else out, or whether they think they’ve got all the traitors and they’ll stick and share the money. If one person votes to keep going, then they keep going. Everyone has to agree to stick. And they don’t find out whether the people they vote out are traitors or faithful.

Coffeeishot · 18/10/2025 09:07

Oh it sounds good thanks for explaining.

LillyPJ · 18/10/2025 09:10

I do think JR is getting a bit complacent. He's starting to look slightly smug and if someone sees him smirking, that would be a big giveaway.

PollyDarton1 · 18/10/2025 09:21

Thanks for the new thread.

I don’t want Charlotte to go, I think she’s been brilliant in the missions and I’m slightly surprised as to why she’s had the votes she has at the RT - I think there is possibly something we aren’t being actively shown as it seems a bit left field. The only thing I can think of is that she gave her shield in the first mission but a) they wouldn’t have progressed had she not and b) nobody has actually mentioned that being the reason they’ve voted for her. Celia said something about Charlotte steering her in a certain way I think, so perhaps Char is active in a lot of chats that we’re not seeing because they are lowkey.

JR is really going to feel the heat next week I suspect, especially with Clare now gone. I’m glad the Joe’s have picked up on the bluff of murdering Ruth. He also gave up the shield to Stephen which I thought would come up at the RT, but didn’t.

Quite happy for Kate to go in the murders. She’s pretty hopeless 😂

I agree with you, and his complacency will be his downfall.

Pavone · 18/10/2025 11:58

I think Lucy is deliberately being quiet and timid. She said at the start that folk always underestimate her. Lucy, Cat, and Nick are playing the best game so far, although I am enjoying the Joes and Alan.

notacooldad · 18/10/2025 12:24

Definitely!
He is shrewd and know exactly what he is doing. And good for him, he's been good to watch

Decisionsdecisions1 · 18/10/2025 13:12

It’s in danger of feeling like the Stephen and Jonathan show. The Big Dogs….who must of course be men.

Just don’t be a middle aged woman as you’ll be ignored and derided.

I’d like to see more of Lucy and the two Joes and a bit less endless Alan doing his usual act and everyone fawning over Stephen.

Hands down tho my favourite to win is Cat. She’s playing a blinder and I hope she outplays the Big Dogs.

isitmyturn · 18/10/2025 13:23

I love Cat, didn't know her music and checked it out but it's not for me. Turns out DS has seen her live ( he likes drum and bass).
Celia is outstanding. Really the professional actors should be good but they aren't playing a part.
I always feel I ought to like Lucy because she's a Hull girl but I'm afraid she doesn't have the talent.
Kate seems a bit dim on GMB and even more so on here.
I want Cat to win
