I wondered about NT as well, but digging around, way back to the first thread, I found it stands for National Treasures, i.e. Stephen, Clare and Celia.

RedRec · 17/10/2025 18:10

The much lauded quality of 'trusting your gut' is surprisingly absent from all of the faithfuls. Shows how we are all heavily influenced by peer pressure.

ilovesooty · 17/10/2025 18:25

Thank you for the new thread.

CeliaFarts · 17/10/2025 18:34

Thanks for the new thread - next episode seems ages away

SaratogaFilly · 17/10/2025 18:35

Checking in - really enjoying the series! Once Alan comes under pressure at the round table he’ll fold completely. That will be fun to watch!

RosieLeaLovesTea · 17/10/2025 18:39

Who is no one listening to Joe Marler and that Jonathan has completed the double bluff in murdering Ruth!!!! Cat is really under the radar.

I suggest that the production staff might have put a stop to it as it would have been an arse ache for them.

I think they left SF suggesting that in the edit because they will do it in a future banishment. Although it will make the round table section short, the fallout in the bar afterwards and the following day could be epic. People who got votes wouldn’t know why that person voted for them and there would be so many people trying to find out why they had got votes. It would also make the traitors really paranoid if they got a surprise vote or two.

if they really wanted to amp up the paranoia a vote where you didn’t find out who each person had voted for would really dial up the tension. But I doubt they would do that.

An anonymous vote would be fantastic. Or everyone votes but then only one person’s vote is (randomly) picked to count.

I think the misspelling is mostly deliberate. Here is Joe’s attempt

Marhque and Roof 🤣

RubieChewsDay · 17/10/2025 19:02

On the voting point it would be interesting for them to record who they were intending to vote for before they sit down at the table and then compare it against who they actually vote for. How much does the chat around the table actually influence the vote?

Did you see the dog walk past? 😂

Is Clare the first person to correctly guess two traitors, even if her reasoning was flawed with Jonathan?

MsFelicityLemon · 17/10/2025 19:34

There's a lot of suspicion on Jonathan. Surely he will be out very soon!!

Though I suppose he's under a lot of suspicion so I supppse he won't 🤣

I also think her reasoning was wrong with Alan. She thought he killed Paloma because no one would suspect it. But actually it was just a total opportunity thing of “oh shit, whose face can I touch??”

Nah it will be Lucy just for the "lols" 😀

xsquared · 17/10/2025 20:19

I hope Charlotte doesn't go. She was invaluable in the last challenge.

Nick is smart, and no way should he be banished or murdered. He hasn't openly named any of the traitors yet, so I think he is safe. Plus they need him for the challenges.

Although there is a lot of suspicion on Jonathan, I don't think there is anyone with the clout to persuade others to banish him at the round table. It's like people know it's him, but are worried about being targeted. So far, Jonathan has managed to eliminate the people who were most vocal about him,

What will happen is someone will say that JR is a traitor at the round table, and he will deflect and turn it back on them and get them voted out instead. It will happen round after round.

I think they might allow it once

Puppylucky · 17/10/2025 20:53

I think JR is also interesting in the way that a lot of people in show business ( including on this show) owe him their first break. Alan Carr was his warm up man on the BBC chat show and he gave Charlotte Church her first prime TV slot. He's not just an established TV personality he's one of the major movers and shakers behind the scenes and that's got to affect how people interact with him.

BIWI · 17/10/2025 20:54

I think Claudia was right when she told them that they had to get nastier. I’m looking forward to that next week!

LittleYellowQueen · 17/10/2025 16:57

I'm really disappointed in Lucy, i quite liked her before and i thought maybe she would be quite shrewd under that ditzy exterior but no, i think she's just ditzy!

I like Nick. Stephen and Jonathan are insufferably smug and pleased with themselves.

Think she might be playing under the radar, being one of the herd faithfuls as a way to survive the early rounds.

CeliaFarts · 17/10/2025 21:36

I would actually like it if, instead of it being one of the three shown being discussed, it was someone totally random. At least for that to happen once!

I don't think he will. He's a lot more clever than his act
