Anyone seen this? I’ve always liked VB and did enjoy this insight into her fashion business but I did find when she was talking about how she nearly lost the business I lost some sympathy. I have no doubt it was stressful but having a millionaire husband to bail you out isn’t the same as what other people deal with when they lose a business and I thought it was a bit tone deaf of her to be sat crying about it when there’s a COL crisis!

Harper is turning out to be a lovely young lady and seemed to have a nice relationship with both V and D.

I only got through 20 minutes or so and switched off. it wasn't very interesting DB's was a lot better.

Agree that her eye liner is the best. Will be buying another.

vic has definitely aged well. She looks better now than she did in her 20s

David looks v strange now. He’s totally lost it. The plastic face is ugly

after having studied the craft, worked for nothing, people with genuine talent, craftsmanship etc

she has literally bought her way into the industry

This is what I would like to know having watched the series and knowing nothing about fashion.

He appears to have degraded and mocked her for years. Ther was a documentary when they were in Madrid and I remember bring struck by his disgusted with her he seemed.

It was just a boring programme. That’s all.

I think she seems like a really lovely person and from people who know her and the kids apparently she is really nice and they’re good polite kids. Having said that I was struck by her insecurity and the fact that she was on the verge of tears so often

she’s so insecure and clearly nothing can change that. I can totally see why she feels she needs to prove herself against all the criticism. But agree she was guarded. Beneath the exterior I reckon she’s very very funny and a good laugh and she can’t let herself show that side

I liked Eva Longoria too, she came across very well

Not going to watch it and disapprove of their inclusion of their DC who is under 18.

I didn't get the vibe he was irritated with her. They just had the energy of a couple that had been together a long time and had been through a lot of battles together.

I think she came across really well and has achieved a lot given what she was up against.

The UK doesn't like people who are successful, it's depressingly predictable. We're quite insecure as a nation and jealous of the success of others.

I think she was brave to be so candid about her life and a much more relatable person than I would have thought.

I’m not jealous at all. I can’t imagine many people watching that doc and wanting her life. She is underweight, insecure with a husband who mostly seems to barely tolerate her. There is nothing on show to be envious of. It is very obvious she is not a woman happy and comfortable in herself. As I said, it made me feel sad for her.

I was thinking the same.

Her money and connections would have easily got her a spot on a much coveted degree at CSM. I would have much more respect for all this 'hard work' had she actually grafted and gone through the mental torment that is, learning to cut patterns!!

I rather enjoyed the show, but she most definitely isn't a fashion designer IMO

I found it quite boring. I quite liked her but agree with previous poster about her sense of humour being overrated. The fashion world seems the most humourless place as they are all in a bubble and have no points of reference but each other. I think that’s why very famous people are so boring and can never be truly funny. Everyone in their bubble will laugh at their ‘jokes’ whether they are funny or not because they are paid to serve them. Even more so if they get to be British and dry in front of Americans. They have no experience of the hilarious nonsense that normal people who interact with a huge range of other people/situations get to find funny. I actually feel quite sorry for how two dimensional their lives must be.

I agree with the above post. I'm just watching ep 3 now and this fashion show she's putting on is stressing me out, so god knows how she must feel! She's clearly a hard worker.

I read that her brand is still hugely in debt which i think is a shame as I thought a lot of the stuff she put out on the cat walk looked beautiful. I think she is a good fashion designer and a hard worker - but she just doesn't think about the cost, she just wants everything to be perfect. So she was spending 70k a year on office plants and another 15k for someone to water them. I mean, only someone who has never had to think about money would do that surely?

I liked the series, I think she is extremely insecure though and married to a narcissist.

I thought it was really boring and there was a sadness too. It’s not a happy marriage and now her relationship with her oldest son has gone south.

She’s a very pretty lady and looks much younger than her years. I wish she would kick DB to the curb, I’ve never understood the attraction of that squeaky voiced gimp.

It was incredibly frustrating that it took her such a long time to be business woman. The slightly faux ‘oh but I came from entertainment world, why would I know about business matters’ is just a bit pathetic. Employ accountants and listen to them. If you can spend £70,000 a year on plants plus ( eye watering) watering costs, you can sort out a balance sheet and learn to read a profit and loss statement! Flying chairs from one country to another?? Madness. Running a successful business is much more than just the fluffy bits.

No sketching of designs, no actual input just sits there barking orders and having final say she totally has fashion designers who do all the work for her. She’s literally just the name nothing else .

I agree about Victoria B as she has a great life with David, who looks like he adores her, then her lovely children and parents and certain friends who love her. Who doesn’t eat any chocolate by the way - ever!
She definitely has many blessings so why then is she not at peace with herself and enjoying life without all the drama and worry!
She isn’t naturally outgoing with a likeable personality like David but because she looked after him when he went through that awful time in his life during a football match against Argentina and the fact he’s had her move around a few times whilst having his children, how could he not offer millions to save her and this fashion business she so desperately needs. She’s very lucky as we would all benefit by having millions to help when our businesses aren’t doing as well as other years. Also, how could she fail to not have an amazing fashion event when there’s all those experienced people involved to help her.
I’m sure she contributed with her own style which is attractive but hey, I think many of us could do that. I think she needs to stop going on about how she’s changed from this and that, how she’s worked hard and how she’s now this person or that person as the poor me attitude isn’t very attractive and I had to turn the last episode off when she started discussing her driven attitude with David as I found that to be too much in my face - I mean as if he doesn’t know her.
If she would have had a giggle with friends sometimes and had dinner with her family and a chat it may have made it a lot easier and more enjoyable.
To mention how well David’s done with his projects too was also a bit much as he’s had these a while. I do hope this series isn’t off putting for prospective buyers of her products as sometimes, being under the radar without coming out with all your shi* can be far better for you and your life.
I think VB should have a good think and not be so serious about everything and just enjoy her life whether her biz is successful or not as let’s be frank, does it really matter as what more does she want!

That fame has gone to DB’s head was obvious in HIS documentary. I couldn’t believe some of the things he said and did. And he wasn’t even joking. And nobody commented on it. At one point they joked that when she went into labour with Brooklyn he went off to a photoshoot with supermodels. If I was Brooklyn that revelation alone would make me go NC. And that is what they are prepared to tell us all. Imagine what goes on when the cameras stop rolling.

Yes Brooklyn and Nicola. Young people are far more willing to spill the beans. Bring it on!

So now we know where Brooklyn gets it from. Wannabe a photographer? No need to go to college just buy the expensive camera and start shooting. Wannabe a world class chef? Why train when you have eaten at some of the best restaurants in the world? Just buy a huge wheel of cheese, take a scoop of seawater and get cooking. Fancy being a world class designer…?

I like her, but this was so boring. I thought it would be more of a story of her life, her rise to fame in the Spice Girls, some unseen footage etc but it skipped through that bit too quickly and then it was just a dull promo for her fashion brand.

David’s doc was much, much better.
