This is our tenth anniversary of sharing our thoughts on Our Girl series one and have subsequently watched the other three series, followed by Soldier Soldier, The Musketeers, Spooks and Hustle so thought it was time to try something different. Mrs Patmore is put in quite a difficult position there.

Trouble on the Hospital committee...Violet is ta loggerheads with Isabel, always good fun.

Oh oh trouble fir Mary. Hotel chambermaid remembers her

Oh, dear. Mary is being blackmailed...again! Lots of rehashing of previous plots. However, we thought that dirty weekend would be back to bite her.

Oh my a housemaid going to work in a shop. Ghastly thought fir poor old Carson

Carson want the order of things restored at Downton. Meanwhile, Mary discusses her difficulties with long-suffering Anna. Nothing new on the Mr Green murder case, so that's still dragging on.

Working in a shop - the way Carson spits it out makes it sound like a total demotion.

Anna confesses to a miscarriage more than once.

Poor Anna more troubles

"We've had so many troubles...there isn't a couple in the world with so many worries" - understatement of the year!

Poor Anna, she desperately wants a child too and now she tells Mr Bates about her miscarriages.

The girls are sniping at each other again 😂

I miss Tom.

Mrs Patmore is trying to broach the awkward subject of life after marriage and "how it will be" when they "share their way of life"

Deep breath Mrs Patmore and out with it!

Oh Mrs P you are a brick having to have that conversation with Carson. Would this really have happened?

I very much doubt she would take the conversation on, particularly not, by her own admission, being a lady of experience herself.

Mrs Patmore chickened out of what would have been a very awkward topic!
