This is our tenth anniversary of sharing our thoughts on Our Girl series one and have subsequently watched the other three series, followed by Soldier Soldier, The Musketeers, Spooks and Hustle so thought it was time to try something different. That's a bandage he always wears since he gave himself his self-inflicted blighty wound during the war....that is the wound he got by raising his hand above the height of a trench while holding a lighted match - the sniper got him.

On a more important topic, have you seen that ex-Spook Matthew Macfadyen is to play (the younger) George Smiley in a BBC dramatisation of The Spy Who Came In From The Cold, incorporating material from the very much later (and looking back thereto) A Legacy of Spies? I like that sort of symmetry. 😁
