This is meant to be a bit of lighthearted fun/chat about a TV show.

I've been on these threads since the get go from the first show with various names. I think it has lost it's way now but still enjoy it to a lesser extent.

No one was being unkind posters are just saying what their experience is that it is becoming confusing with several threads now the show has got going....we've got people apologising for posting on the wrong thread...🤔

Newbies will join and won't know which is which.

MN is an open forum and new posters are allowed to join in and they would have no clue what was "asked" for or otherwise. They'd more than likely just post on the most recent thread hence the confusion that's arising🙂

Yes that exactly what it’s meant to be @marshmallowmix which is why I’m stepping back without an argument. As to your point about new people, yes new people are always welcome but Strictly has been around a very long time as has MN and so the thread has a solid base of regulars with opinions. Some people haven’t liked the change and so it’s changing back.

@EineReiseDurchDieZeit no one is arguing that I have seen, just various posters giving their viewpoints now it is up and running.

I'm a regular been here longer than I care to remember.

I found the change confusing once it came in to practice, that is all.

@EineReiseDurchDieZeit I thought you did a sterling job. The no spoiler/spoiler description in the title makes it perfectly clear to anyone with the ability to pay attention and read a little bit

Perhaps you need to read the comments as you've got the wrong end of the stick.

The issue is not about the no spoiler/spoiler threads as that is all good....it is the new post show chat thread running alongside the no spoiler thread which has caused some confusion for a number of people....

I've been on MN for fifteen years under different names.
I think the two current Strictly threads have demonstrated that it's very difficult to have a conversation which makes sense, because it's going on over two threads at the moment.

Kristian Nairn withdrew but a couple of weeks before the pairings were confirmed.

Oh, I thought they'd been paired up. In that case, yes, they've deliberately given her a good'un as an apology!

Kristian is very tall I assume he would have been paired with either the tallest female pro or in a same sex pairing if that was his preference.

Am glad Lewis is in as he’s brilliant to watch.
