Does the professional want a more restful year, though?

There’s a long time between one series ending and the next one’s rehearsals for professionals starting. Some may get lots of other work in between, but that’s up to them.

Well colour me a slog dodger because I use the pause button during toilet/top up times to buy me valuable "skip the judges pish comments" time later...oh and always start on delay so I can skip the bloody voting t&cs...

Although I think we should all get a pass on evading Tom’s talky bits. In fact if they could put a gag on him the show would be improved.

I don’t know if I agree that they put her with Stefan for that reason, because he’s not bad. I do wonder why they hey didn’t cast Nancy or Michelle for this season since Diane is pregnant. The both of them are brilliant. I do love Diane though and I think as she won last year she was automatically granted a spot for this year. But surely her pregnancy could have given her leave of absence for main pro and just allowed her to be a dancer without a partner)?

Late to the thread but I sobbed at Ellie and Vito. I have a DD with Down syndrome and seeing her dancing so well was amazing and she looked beautiful. It’s so good to see what people can do with the right support. Also thought George was excellent and Balvinder was like a different person compared to last week! She did great.

He gets the spoiler from Digital Spy or Facebook, usually the former, so I would just cut out the middleman and go straight there.

I voted for George (twice), Harry, Jimmy and Lewis. I find Alex very unlikeable and can't bear Ross or Thomas. Quite like Karen and Vicky too.

I thought it was the other way round.

Now what I would like to watch is the professional Strictly dancers having to take a ballet class. 😂

No, people on Digital Spy had been doing the legwork of getting the spoiler for years and then he came along and found a way of monetising it.

Maybe they didn’t want to be accused of pregnancy discrimination.

So only just caught up loved Alex & Balvinder - George was amazing (going to Google pre dance exp lol)

Most pros go on the Strictly Live tour which goes from end Jan - early March. Plus training a week before. Some pros have a dance tour - Carlos n Amy, Nikita. Most of them go on a SCD - The Professionals tour.

In the past, some pros have done cruises.

They probably have 1-1.5 months off before they meet up for group training which happens a month before the recording of the live show

I always feel Tess deserves a free pass because of all those years she spent propping Brucie up and evading his wandering hands.

I don't mind Tess, she's fine. She's not too obtrusive and keeps it all running smoothly. It's a 2 hour live show at the start, I think she does well.

I would get rid of WInkleman, she has plenty of other shows. Get someone who needs the gig on there :)

Yes, I agree. Her salary is crazy money and she doesn't bring a lot to it.

George's was my favourite dance. but didn't feel he needed my vote.

Karen wasn’t quite as strong this week. I liked George. I’m assuming Tom will go.

I also saw that tour she is a fantastic dancer, and is shinning with every new partner.

Under marked, over marked, wobbling free.
Marking was off last night.
Costumes were very poor.
Not keen on many of the music choices.
Having both poor music and costume will hobble you and there were some godawful choices last night. Not sure what Vicky Giggles was on.
If they ever had Strictly Mum Dancing, I'd be a diva and insist on choosing the songs and order of dance styles, and most of Sunetra Sarker's wardrobe from her series.
Do we know why La Voix had to switch from tango to jive? Has anyone said why?
I liked Ellie's turns, Chris's shirt (but not his dancing) and gave four of my votes to Ross and one to Stefan, who had Curse Of The Wig.
