It's interesting that you mentioned UK Stranded men being more aware of their issues, because I noticed the same with the men in Aus Stranded. I found it to be a very refreshing attitude.

MAFS should take note and enlist more men with a level of emotional intelligence and self awareness.

It was a site called "Heatworld" - I literally just googled what Sarah from MAFs does, posted the link that said Recruitment Consultant. Nothing juicy I'm afraid!

Every time I think of Dean's wide-eyed, innocent, nodding face it gives me the rage.

I actually feel a bit sorry for Sarah and Dean. They’ve been very poorly matched but then again, they’ve put themselves on MAFS. No one forced them to go on. Have they never watched the show?

It's exhausting for us watching him as most of us can see through his fake veneer. I don't think it'd be exhausting for him though. He's so far up his own arse, he thinks he's great 🙄

It's really not OK. The public are baying for her blood because someone thought it would be funny to pair her with an idiot.

I'm feeling very protective of Sarah to be honest especially knowing the production team were drinking with her off camera and yet didn't manage to film it - raising ethical issue for me about coercion. I get they can't film them all the time but if production are plying them with booze then asking questions to use against them in the show, without us seeing any context, it feels really unfair.

If I was in Sarah’s shoes I’d be being much more rude about Dean.

Me too - I think she has controlled herself really well, certainly far better than I would.

I hope she can leave with her head held high though and doesn't get tricked into saying something silly everyone will jump all over.

Think I’m almost caught up now. I’m on episode 10 and Steven has some temper. Not only that but Nelly is walking on egg shells around him. I suspect we are seeing more and more why he’s not with his child’s mother. He’s very aggressive and quick to storm off.

Obviously Julia and Maeve were telling the truth, and I’m glad Nelly had the sense to believe them.

I can kind of see why Maeve didn’t pipe up much but Dirvani of all people should’ve backed his wife. Or if not at least explained why.

I didn’t like her comments about his height but I can see why she thinks he’s a bit of a wet blanket. He seems to be in a world of his own and just throws out meaningless word salads.

Ashleys comments about the nails is weird.
I wouldn’t be majorly offended but I would not be keen on a man saying my nails need doing. It’s clear Grace is someone who is very much in charge of her own grooming and wouldn’t welcome a “reminder” from anyone. It could be taken as an innocent remark or even a man trying to be thoughtful, but it could also be a slippery slope to controlling her/her appearance. Especially combined with his other comments.

Sarah and Dean are never going to work unfortunately.

I’m not even sure if Dean likes her that much or he’s just now caught up in trying to make her fall for him for his ego or to prove a point. The bottom line is Sarah is repulsed by him on a sexual attraction basis and it’s probably mainly based on his appearance but his personality won’t be helping either.

Personally I don’t think Sarah is hugely more physically attractive than him and I also don’t think he is any nicer than her personality wise. He is just putting on a good show while he’s playing the part of the jolly big guy.

We can’t forget how he treated women when he was slim and conventionally handsome - according to him he treated them poorly. It wasn’t him being slim that made him act like that. That is his true self.
